It shouldn't be that laggy. Have you tried Bethseda's recommendation on clearing the Xbox 360's memory cache?

        You did pick it up.

I broke down today and picked up The Godfather for PS2 even though I'll get it on the 360.

For those of you that have this game do you use the fast trip feature (or whatever it is called) or do you walk everywhere you are sent?
I heard using the fast trip and not walking you miss out on a lot of important things, almost like some side quests or something.
I want to get this game but I was just curious on this.
By the way I just found out Gamestop has a trade in 2 360 games and get 1 free......this is how I will get Oblivion, probally.

I walk everywhere as it only helps you appreciate the size of the game even more.

Do yourself a favor if you have to get up early for work. Do not play this game tonight or you might find yourself playing till 3 or 4 in the morning it's that good.

great thread guys. i must say this game wasn't even a blip on my radar but you guys' impressions coupled with what i have been reading about have me amped up. my only decision right now is whether i trade in madden and nba 2k6 (gamestop is running a special: 2 360 games get you 1 new one) or, cancel my mlb 2k6 pre order which i have paid off and just buy oblivion. man it's hard being a gamer.

Picked it up today, but haven't had a chance to play it. Will give it some time tomorrow, while I "work" from home.

The Weather does change with the seasons the color of the leaves are changing for fall as we speak.I'm almost 20 hours into this thing, I have barely slept in the past 3 days or eaten. Who needs those things when you have elder scrolls?

I dont use the fast travel at all. I prefer to walk everywhere and now that we can use horses, it makes it even easier to move around on foot.

You definitely miss out on things by using it. I found countless farms, caves, etc that werent on the map but were added after finding them.

Not to mention some beautiful scenary, and bizzare happenings along the way. By foot and horse is the way to go.
