well I just put my Oblivion up for sale on ebay, I played the game like twice since I bought it, it really didn't do anything for me, I'm not an RPG player at all,. never was. I people say you it's not just for RPG playes, I just beg to differ, in the end it's still an RPG and I really didn't like it.

yep, not for everyone I guess...but I dunno, I know this is a RPG, but I think of it more as an adventure game...when I hear RPG I think more of the turn based Final Fantasy type. It wasn't fun for you, but this is definitely a game that more "non RPG'ers" would like compared to other RPG type games

Just a quick question, im just wondering if there is any other way to get your gear enchanted other than the forge place in the imperial city. If not this would mean that a person would have to advance through the ranks of the mages guild to beable to get their gear enchanted?? Also im not quite sure were to find soul gems, which are also necessary for enchantment. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am now Arch Mage

This game keeps getting better. And I am a theif, and enjoying every minute of it. Like Terry was saying, sneaking and getting that first sneak attack shot in works wonders. That's how I beat all of the Necromancer's.

I guess it's all starting to come down to the main quest, and a few small side quests for me... all of the Guilds (other than the dark brotherhood) are all a distant memory :y4:

Man, this game is just awesome. I feel I've still barely just scratched the surface of it too. Only 89 hours played so far, lol.

I need lockpicks in a big way. I joined the Thieves guild near Imperial City and bought about 30 picks off of the main guy there. Now when I go back there is no option to buy more picks. Do I have to complete the 2nd quest (random thieving) before he will offer me any more? Is there anywhere else I can get them? I am down to about 7 picks.

some blacksmiths have em for sale... goblins usually have em, kill em and search their body

what level are your characters guys? I thought i was doing ok to get to level 12 but i'm sure you guys must be way above that by now?

I'm stuck on the quest where you have to find the ladies husband in Bravil. I finished all the guys off at fort grief and it says I should search the orcs body to find something to get out of the fort .I did and then I opened the gate and went to the ladies house and she still asking about her husband but he was killed and I know it. I think theres a glitch because the quest should have ended but its still on my current quests

I've got the rest of the main quest and half the mage's guild to do...probably the only game i'll ever unlock all the achievements

I thought the mage's guild was the toughest of them all to do. Some of those were extremely hard. I just finished it last night, it was great. I really wanted to get those out of the way before I started into the dark brotherhood. SPOILERS*********

But right now, I think I'm going to go try and fight this Umbra person everyone seems to be talking about.

Then, I'm going to start closing some gates. Darn gates keep popping up. How many have you all closed so far? I'd like to get a grasp on what I'm up against here.

Oh, and yeah, this is definately the only game I'll ever unlock all of the acheivements.

I never will because i'm like a dog that sees a butterfly and runs off chasing it in the game. I spent all of Saturday night trying to beat one little area with some high powered fighters and accomplished very little, other than levelling up and etc.
