Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
Wal-Mart Wii Bundle (Preorder)
$533.36 for the bundle.
Includes the Wii system with extra Wii-mote, Wii-chuck, Wii points card, and four games.
The preorder has only been listed and hasn't been available yet. Personally I think its a bit much and will skip out on this preorder.

It's actually right on what everything would cost. If you want 4 games, and they have it in stock, it's a good way to go.Wal-Mart Wii Bundle (Preorder)

Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
True, but for me its too much to pay for at one time. I only need one game at launch and apart from the classic controller, am not in a hurry to get another Wii-mote or Wii-chuck. No doubt its a good deal for those that can afford it or that was planning on picking up 2+ games anyway.
Ha. The PS3 commercial just came on. So ****in weird.

Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
If anyone wants to findout how many their stores are going to have at launch here are the UPC codes for the PS3 (711719800002) and the Wii (045496880019). Just call and ask the customer service worker to look up the UPC in the computer. I've only tested this at walmart for the PS3 so far and it worked.Comment

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity, how many will your Wal-Mart receive? Also how big of a city do you live in?If anyone wants to findout how many their stores are going to have at launch here are the UPC codes for the PS3 (711719800002) and the Wii (045496880019). Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
Your lucky. We had to replace the NES atleast one time due to the thing having an issue reading the carts. The problem with the NES was a dust issue where if there was dust in the cartridge or even the NES connectors where the carts plugged into the slot was such a pain. We had to blow into the carts and use alcohol swabs so to clean the carts so they would play.
Other than that, the NES was solid like a brick. The SNES, N64, and Cubes were tanks with no problems at all. I think Nintendo learned from their mistakes with the NES when building the other systems. Plus, when the released the redesigned NES, the system had no more problems that I mentioned earlier.Comment

Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
I'm curious. If all else fails and I cannot get a preorder online, I'm going to try and get one midnight on launch. I figure I would go in 8-9PM and drive around town (Circuit City, Target, K-Mart, Costco, etc) to see if there were any lines yet. Then go into the 24hr Wal-Mart and check out to see if there was a line in electronics. Is 8-9PM early enough? I mean, what would you guys think if I got in Wal-Mart at 9-10PM, would that be early enough? I've never camped out for anything, so I have no clue. I think my best bet is the 24hr WM or getting to K-Mart early the next day.

Re: Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii PREORDER discussion
I'd call Wal-Mart at 3pm and ask what the line looks like. If its still small then maybe call again at 5 and ask the same thing or head down there for a peak. It all depends on how many they're getting in. Since the game launches on a Sunday, people will have all day Saturday to wait in line if they so desire so I have a feeling it will be pretty long come 8 or 9. Just get a good book or two, a Gameboy, a lawn chair and some snacks if you find yourself in line for the better part of a day.I'm curious.
