btw,, may I ask how is ONLINE and what all do you do? teams of 4 on two sides just killing each other halo style?

id hate to read through the thread and read spoilers from campaign mode

Wait till the bats stop circling him and come after you. Shoot Raam in head with sniper rifle. Repeat.

About how long is this game?

I played for about 2 hours yesterday and never saw a save point, just check points.

I'm up to the part with the Beserker (sp?) that I have to draw outside.

Probably shouldn't have taken me 2 hours to get to that point, but I'm not an avid shoot-em-up player. I died a few times being pretty stupid. I did start moving faster through the game as I got better at aiming and covering and understanding the mechanics of how my team and defensive AI works.

You're on act one of of a total five acts. Its also not a long game by any means.

Here are the things you can so on the same console:

1) coop, split screen with a guest account
2) mutiplayer - both players must have a xbox live account
- example: if your friend is on your console, he needs to recover his xbox live gamertag on your console in order to do split screen online.

This is not true. You can have a splitscreen guest that does not have an Xbox Live account. You simply have to press "Y" at the menu screen where you can choose between Ranked Matches, Player Matches and Leaderboards. Just look at the bottom of the screen and it will have an option for guest sign-in next to the Y icon.:wink:

Someone help me out. I can't beat RAMM. I've died about 25 times now.

I had a hell of a time with RAAM too on Hardcore. I finally beat him with a Torque Bow/chainsaw gun combo, although a lot of people seem to go with the sniper rifle instead of the chainsaw gun. There's a torque bow in the last train car (where you restart after you die). I think it's across from the sniper rifle.

Hit him with the Torque Bow to make the kryll scatter then just unload on him with the Torque Bow and your other guns (headshots preferably). You can also wait until the Kryll scatter on their own, but this will give RAAM more time to close in on you. If he gets close to you (don't let him get on your side of the wall or its over), jump the wall and make a run for the other side.

I am usually not into shooter games, but this game is amazing. It is fun to play, has great graphics and sound, and so far a good story to it. I am VERY pleased with this purchase.

Not a long game at all. Took about 10 hours (maybe less) to get through.

Really helps when you have a competent person playing with you. I went throught he first two acts by myself and I swear team A.I. still needs some work. My guys would carelessly run up to an enemy and just shoot them face-to-face with no care for their well-being.

Once my friend jumped in for the final three acts, we had a party against the computer. It was still challenging, but nice to have someone working with you. "I got the left, you get the right." Simple.

Also worked against the final boss. He used the shotgun and I used the machine gun. Keep the boss back with the machine gun, while my friend took slow, but deadly shots to the boss' head. The boss never got more than a foot closer to our position.

Good game. I tried playing on the hardest level and decided to call it quits after getting deep into the first act. I hate playing games over again and this time it was too hard for me to want to bother.

If I'm working my way through the campaign mode for the first time, is there any way I can go back to one of the previous chapters and then continue where I left off originally? I was going to do it the other day, but it said I would lose my current save point. Is there a way around this? Do I have to beat the game first?

After getting this for Christmas I just played through the first level. It was an hour and a half or two hours of the most intense video game playing I've ever had. Very impressive game. Unfortunately, there are only 4 or 5 levels, right?

it has to be damn hard to beat him on insane. It took me FOREVER on hardcore.
