Well, I'm glad. That means I can come in here without fearing that it'll be ruined.

I am guessing it will be ruined despite that rule. That isn't a slam on the mods or anything either, but someone will hint towards something and it will be ruined. Or, someone will post a spoiler with the correct warning but I will accidentally read it while scrolling past it or my page will load right to it. That seems to happen a lot. I will stay out of this thread for these reasons.

Mods is it ok to set-up another thread to discuss and setup multiplayer games once the game is released?

LOL. I actually do the single player campaign. I think it gets some undeserved heat.. it's pretty fun especially if you play alongside another player and set it on Legendary.

Halo's SP was amazing.

Halo 2's was...very lack-luster.

We'll see how Halo 3's is, as right when I get back from the store with it, I think my roomate and I are going to go through and beat it.

LOL. I actually do the single player campaign. I think it gets some undeserved heat.. it's pretty fun especially if you play alongside another player and set it on Legendary.

I like the single player campaign. Its fun and all, but if the ending were spoiled for me, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

I always cared more about how you got the endings of Halo than what they were.

Like in Halo one, if you told me you had to escape the Pillar of Autuum in a warthog, that wouldn't have spoiled it for me just because that part was sooooo fun.

Halo's campaign was mind-blowing. The second one they probably tried to do too much.. it was not that fun really. Only reason I played it through was to continue the story.

Yeah same here C. It wouldn't bother me too much.. and one could only hope the ending is as fun as the first installment's.

I just have a lingering feeling we're all in stored for epicness since we'll be playing on the 360 this time around.

And just when we thought we had a firm grasp on Bungie.net and all its bells and whistles we're slapped in the face with not only a new aesthetic feel, but a boatload of new features and enhancements for Halo 3.

In an interview with TeamXbox, Bungie.net development lead Chris Gossett reveals all the new Halo 3 implemented features, upgrades and spiffiness that will be rolling out on Bungie.net this Wednesday and be warned ... it's a doosy. Among the new Bungie.net features (of which all can be seen after the break) are ways of sharing videos and screenshots, voting on the community's best, keeping track of your campaign stats and keeping track of your multiplayer stats as well. Speaking of which, multiplayer stat tracking Halo 3 is off the hook, crazy insanely crazily detailed to the twelfth power. Seriously, the new Bungie.net's Halo 3 stat system blows Halo 2's out of the water and around the moon. And since there's too much to mention we advise looking after the break to read all the new upgrades and making the jump to check out a the full interview and a few screenshots too. The new and improved Bungie.net will roll out this Wednesday, prepare your eyes and mind ... it's going to be an information overload.

Oh, and did you notice there will be special Bungie.net medals? Oh yeah!

I think to truly get into the Halo story, you have to immerse yourself in the books as well. I also think the recent commercials, Museum and Diorama, have done a good job at adding a little bit of an emotional attatchment/involvement in the story.

Seriously, coop is one of the best parts of this game. Me and my bro traditionally try to beat the game before we get online.

The campaign is definatly more fun for me than playing online. I will play the campaign before i jump online, maybe a couple games here and there but thats it untill the campaign is finished.

Same here. Playing online runs the risk of spoilers too. My problem is I'm finally starting Bioshock and I doubt Halo's campaign is going to come close to this level of storytelling.
