It sucks because this game could have been something special, but it seems they dropped the ball and rushed it out to prevent more delays.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I know the DLC are all suppose to be kinda bad and unlike the game. They are on sale for 5$ now and I have some $ left from a psn giftcard. Anyone enjoy them even a little bit? I really liked the main game just a shame everyone says the DLC isnt any good.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I really don't think the first two DLCs are worth that considering it could go to a better game. I didn't play the Joe DLC even though I wanted to. Maybe it was better. I thought the game was really good, just not the DLC.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
It didn't live up to it's full potential or the expectations I had, but it was definitely a really good game and worth picking up. The setting was extremely well done.
Hopefully Mafia III is still being developed and doesn't take forever to release. I'd much rather have a new Mafia game than something like Saint's Row.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I honestly think this is one of the more underrated little gems you could buy for PS3/360, as long as you don't go into it looking for a mafia version of Grand Theft Auto, because it ain't that.
Great story, captures the era incredibly well, fun gameplay. Sure it's only faux-open world, but it's damn fun.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

This game is definitely in my Top 10 CG games. I'd put games like Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, The Last of Us and Sleeping Dogs ahead of it. It would fall in my next tier with games like GTA V, RDR, Max Payne 3 and Tomb Raider.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I actually just finished this game last week.
I loved the characters, the voice acting, the look of the game, the cars, the music of the era and the plot was decent.
But the major problem was that the creators made this great world but then there was nothing to do it in. It's a very short game. It was strange that there weren't side missions other than collectibles.
The main mission was very repetitive in my opinion. Drive here, shoot everybody, rinse and repeat.Comment

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I think it suffers from the same "problem" gamers flag L.A. Noire with and that's the large, open world setting and backdrop isn't "fleshed" out by having any open-world/sandbox side missions and elements in them.
