I understand...but not sure exactly what they can give us...there isn't anything else they could do that would make it even cooler at the end without basically just making the 2nd game now.

I want to play the sequel now too, but besides beating Saren and the immediate threat there wasn't anything else to fight.

I know, I'm just in that feeling like I fell in love with the game and didn't want it to end, I wanted to keep going. I wonder if we still end up fighting the Reapers in the next couple of games.

The nice thing is that this game was planned to be part of a trilogy in the first place. KOTOR didn't seem to be, so the second one kind of seemed like it was wandering around trying to recapture the first one, but it just didn't feel like an actual sequel. Maybe the next Mass Effect won't have that problem. I hope Bioware stays in charge of the design of the sequels, I think this game series could be on par with the success of the Halo games, if they all are as good as the first. They may not be as popular (as RPGs aren't as popular), but I just mean I think this could be one of the franchises that defines the 360.

Bioware is doing all the sequels. They own the Mass Effect intellectual property, which is one main reason they didn't keep making KOTOR's.

I also think they fight the reapers still....they're back at the edge of the universe waiting to return another way (I think).

Like those "real sith" in KOTOR. There are some strong similarities between the stories.

I wonder what the real Reapers are like. Also, I wonder if the same cast of characters will be back again, or if they go with a new cast. I think they stay with Shepard, just as he seems to be the face of the franchise, and the way the game ended.

I really want more to do with the Protheans, I liked that whole aspect of the game.

My understanding is that you'll be able to create a new Shepard in the 2nd game, or use a Shepard from the first (they have to make it accessible for those who didn't play the first). I don't know how you can avoid centering on the first human spectre. Plus this spoiler:

I hope that some of your decisions would impact the 2nd game, but that's just a hope.

I really have no idea where they're taking this. I am going to try and keep an eye out for more novels...just sucks it'll be 2+ years till we get the new game (understandably so).

Lol, I did it again with a female Shepard and she started dancing while still moving to the middle of the dance floor, it was a funny visual. I think I watched it like 5 times.....

Yeah you can click on the Volus on the dance floor, or you can lure your love interest onto the floor and dance with them. No options in the Den though, except the private dance.

Microsoft has confirmed to GameDaily BIZ that BioWare's critically acclaimed RPG is off to a red hot start with one million copies sold in less than three weeks.

In a special Ad Watch column on the Xbox 360 marketing strategy this holiday season, Jeff Bell, Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing for the Xbox 360, has revealed to GameDaily BIZ that sales for BioWare's blockbuster role-playing game Mass Effect are better than perhaps many industry watchers were expecting.

Prediction market the simExchange pegged Mass Effect at around 328,000 units for November (the title released on Nov. 20). That said, in less than three weeks on the market, the game has more than tripled the predicted November total. "We've... seen a strong response to both Halo 3 sales with more than 5 million, and Mass Effect which has sold more than a million copies in less than three weeks," noted Bell, highlighting consumers' reaction to Microsoft's holiday push.

Bell did not specify whether the one million figure is a global data point or for the U.S. only (Update: it's a worldwide sales total). Nevertheless, one million sold in under three weeks is a fantastic start and yet another reason for Microsoft to do everything in their power to keep the franchise exclusive to Xbox 360.

While Microsoft holds the exclusive publishing rights to the first Mass Effect, Electronic Arts' purchase of BioWare/Pandemic means that EA now holds the rights to the valuable IP. Microsoft has said multiple times since the acquisition that "we'll be talking to EA and BioWare in the weeks to come." Whether or not an exclusivity deal can be reached is anybody's guess, but with one million sold already Microsoft just got more incentive.

Not sure if the spoiler is needed, but I'll air on the side of caution. Basically you go up on the dance floor, make sure the other party member followed you up their, and push A to talk to whomever it may be. They will probably give you the normal dialogue. Press A again and the love interest should start dancing with you.(certain party members will not dance regardless)
