Hopefully the iron out whatever kept it out of the final version and put it in ME2.
Actually you can still do this. To interrupt someone mid-sentence just choose your response with the "X" button instead of "A". I do it all the time if they are saying something I already heard. It is kinda cool.

It's not the same as what he's talking about, that's just skipping the dialogue. What was shown in earlier videos was your character actually interrupting the person they were talking to(grabbing them and other stuff).

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

That is what I am talking about too tough. If you press X while someone is talking, yes, you just skip their dialogue. But many times you will see your own dialogue options well before they stop talking and when you see that, if you choose your response with "X" instead of "A" your character will interrupt them and say what he wants to say before they finish and they just trail off. If the action that your character was going to take was to grab the person, he will do that. I've interrupted many people mid-sentence. My favorite is to tell them that I have to go before they finish talking. I like doing that when they are being pricks.

Again, that isn't what he's talking about. All that's doing is skipping the scene it isn't interrupting them in the same way. They don't react to you doing it and you can tell that pressing x is just skipping the dialogue for you since you still hear what they're saying until they abruptly stop.
This is what he's talking about(2:18):

That isn't what pressing x does.

Maybe, they couldn't implement it for every conversation and decided it would need more refining.

A bit out of left field, but does anybody else think that it is a really odd design choice to have separate buttons to take out and re-holster your weapon? What is the reasoning behind that again?

Just a thought, but maybe it's so you don't press the button twice by accident and put your gun away in a firefight. I dunno, it's never bothered me.

I dunno, when the designers decide to map grenades to the "Back" button (which is as un-intuitive as you can get), I see no reason why they had to waste two buttons on this task.
