To get those you really shouldn't do anything extra at all until you get the party member you want, especially with Liara.

What are the odds that weapons and/or armor carry over into the next game?

The reason I ask, is that I'm going to start a playthrough again and am debating whether to start as my Level 58 guy, or start fresh. I could care less about the achievement.

None of the weapons or armor are carrying over but your character matters.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

That's what I assumed. I'll probably start from scratch again just to make the game more interesting.

          Thanks!

Nope but current guesses are a 10% experience boost or extra ablity points. There's at least bonuses for level 35 and 50 too but would obviously be smaller.

And the bonus only counts if you finished a game with that level 60 character. You can't start a game just to get 60 and not finish.

dag....I'm going to have to go hard these next few weeks. I was hoping I could just have a save file with a guy at a particular level, now I have to beat it.

Yeah I was mad when I found that out cause I have two characters that I started a game just to get level 60 but the good thing is that both were at 58 and 59 at the end of the game before I started the new one so if I don't feel like finishing it won't be too big of a deal.

Im wondering if you beat a game with an lvl say 40 char and did all the side quests you found and say kept Wrex then replay that sam char and beat it with a lvl 60 but happened not to do alot of side quest and killed wrex, would that overright the lvl 40 one?

I assume as long as you have two different saves than you should be okay.

Well, they said it breaks it down by New Game+ saves.

Meaning, while it's the same character you're talking about, it's two distinct play-throughs in terms of the transfer of story. So the decisions you made on the second play-through (to get to lvl 60) would be the one that transferred with that save file. The lvl 40 character's decisions would only apply to that first save file.

It makes a seperate post game save. You get 11 of them.

If you imported your first save they'd still be at level 40. It goes by the level they are at the end of the game.

The only way any of them get overwritten is if you beat the game 12 times.

Apprently you can't even delete them and they're not a part of the regular ME file.
