I haver started it again on the ps3. Really great world. Maybe the best built world ever in a video game.

This game is amazing and a testament as to how a gaming world can run. There are flaws and negatives of course like all games, but things are so well done its scary. I just wish they would incorporate some of the AI logic from Saints Row, now that would be amazing. I would love to see people get into car crashes, get out of their cars and start arguing with each other or even start fights out of nowhere. Then have the police show up and even worse, have the AI get into some crazy crap with the cops. It's little things like that I wish GTAIV had, which would be sweet.

My biggest beef has to be that there are no check points in missions. I hate missions where you have to drive to a guys house, pick them up and take them to a truck, and then go to a warehouse where you get killed trying to protect him and then you have to do the whole thing over again.

Custom soundtracks would have been fantastic, but maybe in V.

There is some where I have seen shoot outs, but it doesn't feel like there is enough or to the degree of Saints Row. I run into a cop car, the cops are on me like flies on you know what. I have seen the AI run into cop cars and nothing happens. It's little things like that which would be cool.

I haven't seen the cops pull anyone over at all, have you? It just sometimes feels so one sided in this GTA world, LOL!

Yeah, I swear I have. But you have to not be on a mission, just wander around the town for a bit.

You're right, you'll see cops chasing guys on foot a lot. Sometimes I help the cops out by knocking the dude over or boxing them in with my vehicle, and sometimes I help out the criminal by running over the cop.

It is amazing though, Just Cause 2 is a monster world, yet something always pulls me back to GTA. It's the being a real world city with real world stuff going on that pulls me back to it over a game like Just Cause 2, where there may be a ton of land, but in the end, nothing to do.

I've seen cops chase peds in Vice City, LCS & VCS, but no shoot-outs.

Don't get me wrong, JC2 is a blast. Just the world is huge, just nothing going on. It's so big because half of it is empty space to just wander around. I'm just bored with it now.

I'm glad everyone is coming back to realization with how amazing this game is. GTA IV is the greatest game of all time, and GTA V will probably surpass it in 18 months or so (assuming that's when it comes out). GTA just gets unfair treatment that it's more of a sandbox kind of game and it's kind of difficult for them to improve on that style more than they have already, especially given the limited power of these consoles (at least that compared to PC, which can have incredible mods).

I'll be finishing GTA IV over the summer and finding time to buy and play L&D and BGT afterward, sequentially.
