Slightly better drums are just that, better. I also preferred the GH guitar to the RB one. RB2 would have to have a much better song list to get me to buy their game cause everything being equal, it's GH4 for me. And RB2 better come strong to beat a master Eagles track. If that Eagles song happens to be Hotel California, well that will be freaking amazing. As far as Linkin Park is considered, I love there stuff, but as for in the game there not important to me at all. They don't exactly doing anything 'groundbreaking'

I'm torn on this... I really wanted to get Rock Band but I'm not so sure about it now. I really don't want to wait like 6 months though...

This is me right now. I may go pick up RB tonight. If GH4 is that much better when it comes out, then there is always the option to trade it in for credit. The DLC for RB looks solid. On the other hand, I really want to play some Linkin Park on GH4.

It's already confirmed that LP will be in GH4.

I hope it is from Hybrid Theory, though. Not a big fan of much of their newer stuff.

The gameplay kind of speaks for itself, so any details about the songlist would be awesome. A couple bands have already been confirmed, but the more we know about the music content, the better. The game will only be as good as its soundtrack.

Anything different presentation-wise with the crowd, star power, or overall atmosphere? Rock Band really jumped out with that and made it feel like you were doing a concert... GH3 not so much.

You know, aside from Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman, I see no want in buying a Metallica Guitar Hero. Why don't they do different music genre ones? Like Alternative, Country, etc. Get a larger group of people.

I see these other ones flopping. I mean they'll be successful, but they'll flop compared to the other ones.

I would love a Metallica Guitar Hero. Maybe throw in associated bands like Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.
