Why not? Is it because they will be on GHWT? If so, that would suck. "One Step Closer" would get a ton of play in my Rock Band.

Harmonix does it right. Good customization, Compatible DLC, good, fun songs, good gameplay. GH3 was like.. they tried to turn it into one of those Japanese rhythm games where the whole point was just to see how many notes per second you can throw on the screen. Incredibly boring. And then the battle modes or whatever with the power ups was lame.

And I doubt it's the Dream Theater one since it's in the easy tier. I haven't even heard that song but I don't know if Petrucci and Portnoy can do anything at less than really difficult.

Personally, Rock Band wipes the floor on Guitar Hero. I am almost tempted to not bother with any of the GHWT instruments and invest what I was going to spend on that in Rock Band.

It looks like more songs from RB2 have leaked....

Claiming to have play-tested Rock Band 2, a poster apparently leaked a number of songs from the setlist. The message has since been deleted by forum moderators, but not before its contents were passed around online. Reported songs mentioned in the post include Linkin Park's "One Step Closer," Megadeth's "Peace Sells," Rage Against the Machine's "Testify," The Guess Who's "American Woman," Billy Idol's "White Wedding," Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know," Jethro Tull's "Aqualung," Thin Lizzy's "Bad Reputation," The Go-Go's "We Got the Beat," Alice in Chains' "Man in the Box," and Soundgarden's "Spoonman."

Yeah, it's a little late in the game for people to be laying down the snob cards. If you like popular music, chances are you like something that someone else thinks is crap. Let's forget about who sucks and keep letting Harmonix know who we love, and hope everyone is happy at the end of it.

To you they might. They happen to be my favorite band. If you don't like them, that's cool. I didn't expect everyone on this site to like them as much as I do. I'm just happy they'll be in RB2!

Wow, Spoonman and Testify are two of my faves. Glad to see them in there.

With the DLC being compatible, right now I'm leaning towards a 100% rock band 2 purchase. I don't see how GHWT can top them unless their setlist is just mindblowing. There's just so much content available for Rock Band. Plus, GH3 has had some issues with the DLC causing saving problems, so I've lost some confidence in Activision.

I don't care for Linkin Park, but welcome them to the game. The more music, the better IMO. I don't care for a lot of the bands in the GH and RB games, but I love playing some of the songs. Maybe I'm just weird.

How is that science? Since it says "Scientific Proof....." means that it's science? Please. You can pretty much do that with just about any compilation of songs. I am not impressed at all.
