Re: Rock Band 2
This might be a stupid question, but I've got Rock Band 2 with the two cymbal expansion pack, is that compatible with ALL the notes with Guitar Hero world tour?
Can I even play Guitar Hero world tour with RB2 + cymbals expansion pack?Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
No, because the cymbals still register as Yellow, Blue or Green.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Awesome to see Ten getting announced for DLC - that is insanely awesome.
If we're going to do some more grunge though....
Give me: Alice in Chains - Dirt
For what it's worth, Dave Mustaine has been getting asked a bunch about Rock Band thanks to "Peace Sells" being available and he said he'd love to have Rust In Peace be available for Rock Band as well.
Holy crap - playing "Holy Wars..." That would rule.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
So, I go and purchase like ten DLC songs that I want, and then I find out about this Track Pack thing that they sell in stores... and like eight of my songs are on there.

Re: Rock Band 2
I just bought this for my kid for christmas. Do they happen to have any radiohead DLC? If not, any plans? Id love to rock out to some Paranoid Android with the family band in our media room.
It is awesome that Ten is going to be DLC. Top five album of the 90s for sure.Return of the MackComment

Re: Rock Band 2
Question for you guys; I love music and I think this game would be perfect for me. I just have one question; I'm interested in Guitar Hero III and IV for the PS3 as well as Rock Band II, but I don't want a million plastic instruments sitting around in my house, lol. Are the Rock Band II peripherals compatible with the GH games or do I have to buy separate guitars for each of those titles?New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003
New York Giants- 1927, 1934, 1938, 1956, 1986, 1990, 2007.

Here's a compatibility matrix that I think is up to date: http://www.joystiq.com/Instrument-Compatibility-Matrix/
The biggest thing is to find which instruments you like the most because the RB and GH feel different and have different features, but the main functionality of them is the same. I play on the PS3 and use the RB1 drums on both RB and GHWT, my guitars are 3rd party Nyko guitars because originally the GH guitars weren't compatible with RB (now they are). The reason I use the Nyko ones are because they feel just like the GH guitars which I like a lot more than the RB ones, so I bought the Nyko ones before the GH ones were compatible with RB. So I have two Nyko guitars, 1 RB drumset, and 1 RB mic to play both RB2 and GHWT.
