Did you do the audio/video lag calibration in the options with the drums? Apprently there's seperate ones for guitar and drums for some reason.

i was playing GH at my boys house last weekend, and i definitely like the guitar way more then the drums (too hard to hit that pedal and worry about everything else too)

Can i play this game with just the guitar or do i need the drums too.

You don't need all of the instruments for this game. If you want to just play the guitar, you can do so without buying the drums. Very much like GH: World Tour

Quitar is actually my favorite instrument in rock songs so thats why i like the game so much.

its damn hard on medium tho cant imagine the people who play on hard i was struggling hitting that blue button.

I like the GH 3 guitar best,I'm suprised it's still running on its original batteries. It's been flashing to replace them for 3 months,what the heck is it running on? I wasn't going to replace them untill they ran out but they don't seem to be running out.

RB has 500 songs available now, so I recommend that one. You can buy a really cheap used guitar to go with the game these days, too.

I actually can't right offhand think of a song they don't use a either violin or standard orchestral strings section in (I've got all their CDs from Ocean Avenue onward).

The country songs are some of the most fun songs to play in all of Rock Band. I hope they release more of them.

Sin Wagon proves we need some bluegrass, too.

I heard the country songs (they're not out for PS3 until tomorrow I believe), and I'm glad I wasn't just going to do an impulse buy. Granted, I am totally for them doing a country thing, but I didn't want twangy country. I was really hoping for some Urban or Rascal Flatts, and though I knew we weren't getting them, I would have preferred some stuff more like that.

I'm only going to get the Brad Paisley one. I don't have much money in my wallet right now anyway.



I'm personally waiting for them to release some BTO.

I put the Rock Band 2 bundle on my Christmas list and I'm planning on just renting RB1 and paying the $5 to transfer all of the songs onto my harddrive. Seems like a good way to go.

How much are the Guitar Hero guitars? I'll be needing a second guitar and it seems like people tend to prefer the GH guitars over the RB ones.

Battle, Toys R. Us had a price mistake on the Rock Band 2 bundle for 109 and you get a 25 dollar gift card. See if your local will honor it or grab an ad and price match at Wal-Mart
