WOW my horse just got jacked by a prostitute...she feigned injury, I thought it was legit...I knew I shouldn't have trusted her. Had the chance to just blow her face right off but I bought into her story instead.
Next thing I know she throws me off the horse like a ragdoll and rides away.

It was a nice horse too...

There is a dude in near the swamp who is a random and wants you to do something for him.

I did it. It took forever. And I got nothing in return. Am I glad I did it: yes.

the guy wants you to get flowers 3 of each type for him so that he can give them to his wife, he's old and it's their anniversary or something so he can't travel to get them -which are located on far sides of the map. I thought I'd have them just by going around and picking flowers every once in a while. Well I read it finally to get a better understanding that it was 3 of 3 types since I went back with only 2 of one type. Any-who, get the final one, and bring it all the way back thinking that this must be a special side quest because it took so long, and requires more work than any other I'd come across so far. He walks me into his cabin in the swamp for some tea with his wife so we can all talk. His wife is a corpse that looks hilarious and John pretends for a bit that she's alive because the man seemed so normal. anyway, he makes an excuse to leave and that's it - NO REWARD! LOL... In a way I thought that was the best part because it is so deliberate! It's just a putrid corpse the eyes long gone and mouth gaping and that's it.

Ha ha, I was actually thinking of doing that one but that's too funny!!!

I went to Cholla Spring to find me a Rattler and I here one...So Im in the middle of searching for it walking slow. Next thing I here is some bird making all this noise...I look up and I be damned if it didnt swoop down and grab the Rattler and fly off with it in its claws...LMAO.

Pretty good so far. I think this might be the first game especially a freakin' western based game that I've enjoyed.

I've only played for about 2 hours and a hour and half was spent just doing little side missions trying stack my paper. I haven't gotten online yet because, I want to get used to the game but, so far this game is 8 out 10. That will probably go up as I continue to play.

Ummm...question. I shot a bambi and I couldn't skin him. Whats the problem, do I have to get to a certain point in the game to do that?

Also I was out in the wilderness about to check and see what this guy was doing just standing around out in the middle of nowhere and that son of a bitch tries to jack my F'n horse. I was like WTF!? Needless to say I wasn't havin' it so I shot him and I guess it deducted points away for killing a civilian but, I was out in the middle of nowhere and he was trying to steal my horse.

If your horse gets stolen does that mean It's one for good or can you just whistle and he'll come right back?

Hopefully I didnt lose out on a stranger mission. Since my encounter last night I approach with my shotgun but not locked on, I accidentally locked onto this guy and it said "hostile approach".

Still need to work my way to Thieve's landing but I havent been able to find the map for it

In the future, I think this game will be a blast online but right now it's just too buggy. My brother and I started up a private session (360) and our characters and donkeys were invisible half the time. Mics were cutting in and out. And we found a gang hideout outside Armadillo which we ended up finishing, but the gang members were going invisible on us most of the time as well.

I think I've only used a stagecoach twice... riding across the map on my horse is just too damn awesome, and too immersive and essential to the experience. I literally just spent a good 30 minutes riding from one end of the map to the other to get to a mission... and it was awesome.

Not sure if anyone knows, but you can climb on to buildings by grabbing onto the roof and pulling yourself up.

Damn I wish I didn't have to go to work in the morning. If not I'd probably be putting in at least a good 3 or 4 more hours. I'm probably going to get another hour in I believe.

Could someone answer this just so I know, I don't want to kill every civilian that tries to steal my horse If I can just get it back by whistling. If someone steals your horse do you have to get another one or will it just re-spawn when you whistle for it?

After a time it will re-spawn when whistling for it. That's what happened when mine got stolen anyway. Just got a nice stallion from a mission, heading back home, and I got duped by a thief. I was worried I'd lose the stallion but it re-spawned after a while.

Man this game is incredible, one of the better games I have ever played up to this point. Even riding your horse to each mission is a blast in the game. The first time it stormed in the game my draw dropped, I could not believe how incredible it looked.

The only complaint I have so far is the game seems a tad easy even with having the aiming set to expert. I don't think I have died once. Hopefully the difficulty picks up as the game goes along.

Anybody know how to take a bounty target alive for the greater reward? I try shooting one in the legs but that didn't work.

As a side note judging from the comments in the thread I must be one of the few people playing the game as a good guy. I don't know why but I always do that in games.
