I don't remember, is there a lot of difference between 360 and PS3? I bought it on 360 but thinking of going PS3 this time around.
I'm not sure why you didnt finish the game, but try and ask yourself why you didn't finish it in the first place before buying it again. Did it get boring? Was the gameplay not fun? Just some food for thought. If you didn't like the actual game chances are you won't like the DLC. I absolutely LOVED the game. My fav game of all time, but I downloaded the zombie DLC, played it for an hour, and haven't played it since. I thought the zombie thing would be cool, but for me it wasn't true to the actual game.

I didn't like the zombie DLC as much as the main game either but i thought it was well worth the 5$ i payed for it. I liked the main missions but not so much all the side quest like clearing graveyards

I had a bad habit of not finishing games. I would play them, a new game would come out and I would never go back and finish (stupid I know) plus I'm a guy who doesn't play much single
Player. I'm going back though to finishing some games I didn't complete and picking up some series I never got.

For me, I enjoyed red dead, but never finished it. These open world games start to become boring to me after 30 to 40 hours in them. I enjoy them during that time, but just can't ever seem to finish them. Fallout 3, Skyrim, GTA IV, Red Dead, all the same, put 30 to 60 hours in them and then stop playing them.

Hell, you could have beat this game in that time frame. I think my first playthrough took me like, 35 hrs, and I felt like I really took my time.

Oh, well it is possible that I didn't play red dead for that long. I was going off hours I logged on steam for fallout 3 and skryim and was thinking I played red dead for approximately the same amount of time.

My first time through I beat it in 17 hours, my second time through where I really tried to take my time I did it in 21 hours. I can't imagine taking 35-40 hours, that's impressive!

I think my second time through I was only 82% (still higher than my first time through) so I still had plenty of side stuff to do.

Think about how many games aren't talked about, just a month or less after release. Rockstar's games always come back in discussion. I know some people aren't into the "sandbox" type games, but they're missing out on some awesome stuff, when they skip on titles like RDR, GTA4, and even games just published by Rockstar, like L.A. Noire.

They don't stamp their name on anything, unless it's a quality title.

I plan on going back and doing some more stuff, but in general im more intrested in the main story then I am all the side stuff. I think part of the reason was i was halfway through the game and lost my save and had to start over with the game. So between that and having a long backlog of games at the time made me put the side stuff off. I just recently finished Undead Nightmare so i am kinda in the mood agian for RDR

Got this game on release day and played it for about 10 hours before getting the RROD.

When I got my new Xbox I had other games I wanted to play and this one was put on the back burner. Just picked it back up and started over. Forgot how cool this game is. Only played about 2 hours so far and have spent most of that just walking around the starting ranch shooting wild life.

Is Redemption a continuation of Revolver? Will I be lost in this game I didn't play Revolver?
