Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
I'd like to join also. I used to play pretty often in some big coop missions back in the Arma 1 days, but only once or twice in Arma 2. I've definitely wanted to try DayZ, but was afraid of going it alone and getting killed/robbed within 5 minutes. Are we talking an OS Arma group on steam or just a general OS steam group?Comment

Hey guys,
Just picked up Arma 2 and all of the expansions off of steam. Where are you all getting MODS from and how do I join you all on Steam so we can kill some Zombies!!In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
The mods you are most interested in that 99% of servers run is ACE which I posted a example of how to install it back in this thread.
Also can download Day Z on here. Then use the server browser on the updater and it will start the game with the mods needed.
Any helped need on mods guys, just ask me or Xavier

Can someone tell me what I need to play ArmA 2 with the Day Z mod? Do I just need the original ArmA 2 game, or some of the expansions?Comment

Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
Here's a link to the in game map/world
Just for reference those bottom 2 cities Cherno and Elektro are some of the more populated areas by players. They also are right next to each other on the map but it takes about 5-7 minutes to run from one to the other. Now you can imagine how long it takes to run to some of the other locations in the world.
Since you spawn with no map or compass its real easy to get lost. I managed to run in one direction for about 20 minutes and reached the end of the map. No clue where I am.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
