Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
The six updater is a bit overwhelming for somebody who has not done this before. I have only modded Skyrim before and the Nexus Manager is cake. I am so confused right now. I can't seem to figure it out. Just want to get that ACE mod Phobia was talking about plus this new DAY Z . Any pointers or help would be appreciated. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Man dayZ is TOUGH. I've yet to live past like 2 hours lol. And the time I did, I never really found anything of worth that I was sad to lose. Of course I was playing last night, and consequently it was pitch black while I was playing. Not exactly the easiest way to learn the game when you can't see anything in front of you.Comment

Sorry I can't be of more help but I'm at work right now and I'm trying to remember it from memory. If you're still stuck let me know and I'll find out more info.Comment

Ya I just realized that. I spawned near Cherno and went there. I acquired a map, flashlight, ennfield, watch, and killed a bandit. And then of course I got overrun by zombies lol. I found an AK47 at one point (YAY!), and then realized it was empty (BOO!). Fun game so far.Comment

Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
All I did was go to the Mods tab and find the mods I wanted to download (@DayZ for example). Right click on @DayZ and go to the bottom for Updater Actions. Then select Install or Update Mods. The best thing to do when installing any Mod is to also right click it and select it as Dynamic Preset. Once you have done that you will see the Mod on the left menu. Green (or Skip) means you have successfully downloaded the correct files and red means you haven't. DayZ needs more than one file so make sure you have all the files otherwise you won't be able to properly connect.

After I get off work, I should be on around 5:30 central time. If you can make it on, we can run through how to set it up for you.Comment

OS ARMA GAME NIGHT!!!
Date: May 9th
Time: 5:30pm Central +
Meet Point: Steam (Message me Phobia420 on Steam)
I have a extremely fast internet, so I can host Coop games where everyone should be smooth enough. Day Z we will just try and get whoever we can in a server that has most openings. Might have to split group some if we choose to play Day Z.
I think the way we should work it, if we have a bunch of people on at same time. Play Coop because then everyone from OS can play on same team. If we have just couple people then we link up in a Day Z server.Attached FilesComment

Re: ArmA 2 (PC, 360, PS3)
I'm down for some DayZ co-op tonight. My is currently hiding out at one edge of the map though so it might be a while for me to meet up with any of you guys.
I did find the easiest way to meet up with people is to just stay along the coast. If you check that map I posted you can figure out your position relative to the others and just run along the coast until you meet up. Not really any zombies on the coast either.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
