Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I am having a blast this time around. I'm already a level 8 and I have been making $$$ chopping firewood and selling it then I have been training with the trainers at least 5 times before I level and my Goon is turning into a beast. It's taking me a long time this time around but I feel am really getting the most out of this game now.
Been making my own armor/weapons now, sharpening my weapons and had no idea about doing this the first time.
"Maximus" is at work bored to death and can't wait to get home. Lol

Spoileruse Faendel, from Riverwood to train your archery up to level 50? How I did it was after you give the letter to that girl "from Sven" you have Faendel follow you. Each level you have him train you 5 times, and you can always "trade items" with him and take back the gold your spent from him each time.
It's cheating I know, but I did it a anyway. I'm a dual-wielder so archery/sneak isn't my primary skill so I don't feel bad about it. Only perks I have for archery is 2/5 for overdraw anyway. And I'm at level 54 now so I barely use archery. Just a tip if u didn't know and u wanted to do it. Sounds like you're into trying to level your guy up as quickly as possible. I was level 7 I believe by the time I got up to level 50.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Just curious...how many of you fast travel to places? I like using it myself, especially if I am going somewhere I've never been yet, I try to fast travel to the closest place around wher I'm going. And why or why don't you?Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
What I tend to do is fast travel to someplace near (a decent hike but not terribly far) where I need to go and walk from there. Oddly enough, about half the time, the moment the game loads after selecting a destination, there seems to be a dragon flying above me.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
How do I get that perk?
How much is a horse, generally? I have ~2700 gold, but I'm saving for a house in Whiterun. I don't mind walking...yet.
Last random question: Is there a way to change your appearance in game, such as war paint? Not that I really care that I have red skull on my face, but his appearance isn't matching his personality...yet. I guess I need to go on some killing sprees and steal ****.
Press the tilde ( ~ ) key to open the console and type:
showracemenu
Press tilde again to exit the console and edit your appearance. Note that active effects from gear seem to disappear, but when you unequip/re-equip them they return. Blessings are removed.
If you actually change your race using that though, your stats will get mixed, so don't change your race, only appearance.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I hate Lydia sometimes, I went into a dungeon and was fighting a dragur death lord. I got him to a little life left, just enough to kill him with an arrow, when all of a sudden Lydia throws herself in front of the guy. She then gets killed by the arrow I had just shot. Luckily, I had saved before I fought the dragur, or I would have been screwed as Lydia was caring some good stuff that brought my weight over the limit.Comment

Well, just decided no Dark Brotherhood for me. Wandering the wilderness, I ran into someone sent to kill me. Don't wanna join a group trying to kill me, but then again, I did choose the Imperials.TCU Horned Frogs

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I ran into some Justicars last night. They made me hate my own kind. And this was immediately after talking to a Stormcloak guy and him being all racist straight to my Elven face.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Can you be a cannibal or is that just Vampirism?
I was watching a vid on youtube and the guy was commenting that he was a cannibal eating humans in front of Lydia yadda yadda. And he went on to say he didnt have vampirism in response to the brotherhood contractor warning him about contracting the disease after killing one.Comment
