I finished the Dark Brotherhood main questline last night.

What a pay day that was, 20k in gold was definitely worth getting my hands dirty. Plus the side quest to find the assassin of old, he had some nice armor on him.

After that I bought and fully upgraded the house in Solitude and will finally begin the Civil War storyline.

Not fully. I used the gold for my Solitude house. Is there any benefit to it other than making the sanctuary nicer? I don't really plan on going back much, so Nazir can get along without me lol.

No benefit really unless you upgrade things like your room then you get some extras like places to set your armor.

Or the torture room which you can get 4 treasure side quests. And a great place to practice destruction spells. lol

I called it the finish after the Hail Sithis quest because that is when you get the final Dark Brotherhood achievement. It's not like the Thieves Guild where you get another achievement after restoring them to glory.

If you check under her bed, there is a copy of Fall from Glory. Couple that with the note that can also be found in the Flagon saying to "keep an eye on her, she is more than she seems".

I love this about Skyrim. It doesn't hold your hand with telling stories. It allows the players to fill in the blanks and use their imagination to a degree. You may never piece together all the mysteries but a little investigation will bring you a little better understanding.
