    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I liked J'Zargo but he fell at the hands of a frost dragon. I lost him pretty quick.

Right now I am a level 36 and have just one more perk in my destruction tree. Master which I am 28 levels away from as I am a 72 in destruction.

I will be focusing on Restoration next. I am also over 50 in Illusion and 48 in Alteration.

But now since I am doing the Thieves Guild (and I also have been welcomed to the Dark Brotherhood but will hold off till I finish the Thieves Guild quest line) I may start perking up Sneak and lockpicking which I am pretty good at and i have not committed a single perk too as of yet. I am a 47 in lock picking (trained only twice) and 45 in sneaking (with only one training session purchased).

Amazing the evolvement my High Elf Mage has taken. I am a true destruction mage but I am normally wearing elven armor with my Morkei mask (bad *** indeed) and my amulet of Sevron (former Arch Mage). I have finished the main College quest. I am now fascinated with being a thief and assassin and am rolling with those guilds.

In the main quest I just finished The Throat of the World.

Dude my quest log is filled......this game is just so freaking amazing.

I have now logged over 115 hours with my first character.

No doubt my second play through (which will probably not even start till the summer of 2012) I will use a dark elf and go full on criminal and assassin from the get go. Archery and One handed weapons along with potions and poisons as well as light armor. The only magic I will look at is Alteration and Restoration.

No, I don't think you have to do all of them. Just the first one in Saarthal I think. I did that one quest because I was trying to complete another and J'Zargo's quest opened up for me after it was over.

That's exactly what I wanted to read because I'm on the Saarthal one right now and I'm about to complete it.

So after I finish this one I can head over to J'Zargo and get his quest line?

        Awesome if so.

Yep, you definitely should be able to after you finish "Under Saarthal".

You're right. I'm pretty sure I got J'Zargo's scrolls quest right after I was admitted to the college. Did some other small quests too. Now, I couldn't complete J'Zargo's quest until after I had finished the main college quest though. That was likely my doing. Whether or not I would have been able to complete it prior to reaching a certain point

So I am in the middle of no where, in this frozen snow covered Dwarven ruin.......sigh.....

I hate their ruins, they are always so damn big and booby trapped to the max and the sound of pistons going off all the time is annoying. However I have Dragon armor legendary now, so none of their golden men and golden spiders can cause me much damage.

But literally I been in this damn place an hour now. And I lost my companion some where in the frozen sea I had to cross. All this just find a damn scroll........really ? really ?

How in the world did you get Destruction to 72? I have no clue how I'm going to get to 20. It's just so slow to level.

Just use it on wolves, deer, foxes, rabbit or on trees period over and over.

Well I knew from level one I was going to be a destruction mage and quite frankly 95% of the time I use dual destruction to destroy and kill anything in my path. Wielding the power of Fire, Ice and Lighting just feels so damn god like.

I have the mage stone as well so that helps level up your magic much quicker and I have banked a lot of my level ups into magic as well as my perk tree into destruction magic. I made sure to focus on becoming a master and also I have trained a ton in destruction. The head mage in Solitude...I maxed out my training with her.

Just keep at it and it will come.

Like the Jedi Qui Gon said to young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I "Your focus will become your reality".

Thanks. Doesn't look like I'll be finishing up that quest line anytime soon then.

I just hit level 80 in destruction and yeah it has taken a long time to level up compared to some of the other skills. Sometimes rather than fast travelling I'll just put the 'flames' spell on both hands and just walk across the country side shooting flame everywhere the whole way.

Destruction is one of those things that I don't really pay attention too, but it progresses pretty well. I have a new Dark Elf mage that I've been working one. I normally go with a one-handed weapon and a spell in the other hand and it works great. I just hit 55 destruction and 55 one-handed so I'm really balanced and I love it. I boosted my smiting up to 60 today to.. So many Iron Daggers....

I finally got my enchanting level up to 100. Now I have a ring, gloves, blacksmith apron, and necklace with a 25% boost to smithing for when I upgrade weapons and armor. My dragonplate armor is at 129 alone and I can make steelplate into 85 range. I can cause trouble in a city and let the guards attack me and not even worry about dieing. I guess Ill do that at some point to get the achievement for 1000 bounty in all holds.
