Unless I've read wrong, I thought this allows you to level skills above 100. So if I reset my smithing to 15, the next time I hit 100 it would actually be 185.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
As I mentioned before I got this game in late Jan as a Bday gift and I have not played another game since that time! I'm on PS3 and was able to get all 3 DLCs for half price during the first week. I have two characters at the moment and I constantly switch back and forth between them since they have completely different playstyles.
This is the most addcitive game I have ever played on my PS3. It's been a blessing and a curse.
PS: Am I the only one that is super creeped out by those Spriggans? Damn they creep me out so much lol.Last edited by Sundown2600; 03-11-2013, 12:11 AM.Comment

But I just picked it up back from some hottie off CL for $30
and I got shut down by the hottie lol

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hey, badass heavy armor Breton here.
I hadnt smithed with any of my characters since the game first came out and spammed iron daggers. But I wanted Daedric for my character (post patch). That had to be the most tedious, monotonous, soul sapping process of my life. It takes so *** **** long to level stupid smithing now. My alteration is through the roof from transmuting so much *** **** iron ore into gold ore to make gold ****ing rings that sell for ****; wtf do I need alteration for?
Dammit that was a horrible experience. But its worth it to take pebbles in damage from pretty much anything. I am having second thoughts on becoming a vampire though. Im not so hot on having to feed all the time or burn in the sun. I know thats the idea for vampires but meh idk if its worth it just for bad *** eyes and vampire form that I would hardly use if ever. May just stick with werewolf for the resistance to disease.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Thanks for making me laugh on a dragging Thursday at the office...
Beat me (and probably 10 other people) to the punch with that one...but of course, it begs the question: how unlikely is it that a hottie is a) a Skyrim fan or b) selling it Craigslist? Apparently, not that unlikely....Last edited by pietasterp; 03-21-2013, 04:53 PM.Comment

I say this with 100% sincerity (not the smarmy internet meaning): cool story, bro.

drunk: "hey what just came out?"
person in line: "Skyrim"
drunk: "haha, loser!"
LOL people were dressed up
But the point of all of this is that to my amazement there were some hot chicks in line - and I don't mean passable videogame hermit nerd chicks that are slightly above average - I mean there were a few 8's and a couple of them were actually DRESSED UP!
So that chick selling the game probably played it and loved it and went in to a nerd rage lining up at midnight too. There is no way she shut him down because he wanted skyrim, she probably had a boyfriend or maybe is a lez-bean!Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Ok, finally getting around to installing this on my PC.
What mods should I download. I have a PC that will handle most any high end resolutions, and really want to enhance my experience from the start.Comment

Go to Nexus Mod for Skyrim. They have everything you need plus they have an installer that does all the work for you.
They have some great graphic mods as well as character models and new amour and weapons that are all lore friendly. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

other than that, I would recommend SkyRe. It changes many things with the game though, so I would read up on it to see if it is something you would want. it does make the game more challenging though. The Nexus site has many texture mods that'll improve visuals.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Speaking as a console gamer only, I don't think there is another game out there that gives more value per dollar. If there was a game out there that's worth 100 bucks or over this would be it.Comment
