I use the flame thrower a lot .... I like burnin' ppl .... lol

I think I'm gonna swap out my Bow for the Flame thrower!! What is the distance I can use that thing at?

I'm curious what everyone is using as your 4 weapons of choice... I unlocked the 4 weapon holster last night and here's what I have in it...

6P9 w/Night Sight
STG-90 w/Red Dot Sight
M-700 w/Sound Suppressor & High Power Scope
Recurve Bow w/Red Dot Sight

I wanna get more guns that have Sound Suppressor's... Guess I'll keep activating Radio Towers.

Sniper w/silencer and scope.
Handgun
Knife.

I will swap out with killed enemies if the need arises.

20 feet maybe .... careful you can easily set YOURSELF on fire with it ...

Bow w/ Red Dot
Sig shotgun (I got that for relics I think)
Assault rifle w/scope and sound suppressor (Forget model, not STG-90, next one unlocked)
M-700 w/Sound Suppressor & High Power Scope

I haven't gotten much into either the SMG's or the LMG's. Haven't tried rockets or flame thrower either, need to check those out sometime. I've just been more stealth, and the Sniper/Bow/Assault rifle tend to work best for me, with the shotgun being a great hunting tool.

Suppressed pistol
Bow
Suppressed Sniper rifle
Shotgun with site

I have yet to be able to take an encampment without being noticed. I came darn close last time but 2 guards were right next to each other and the takedown/knife throw didn't work. I need to do this at least 2X to get one of the upgrades I want.

Have you tried shooting a lion/bear cage and just watching?

No, but I've seen about half of the outpost I liberated have. The reason that I brought it up was because when I first started playing the game I didn't realize that I could release the animal to help clear an outpost out.

Bah, I am stuck on this mission where you have to get through a camp to get to a helicopter. ****s hard. Instant death by RPG.

And the checkpoints in the mission are not very generous.

I got a stupid check point in the middle of the ocean and on my map i was on the shark icon.

Then end was dumb, but other than that I don't think it was so dumb. Remember the infamous Madden06 "concept video"? Has nothing to do with "not making the cut" and everything to do with salesmanship which is what these guys do leading up to release. If people are dumb enough to believe it, that's their problem. Then again some people thought Ian was real.

I understand but the Madden 06 trailer and what they put out were about as similar as a ps1 and ps3 game. I don't think Far Cry was misrepresented at all to anything remotely close to that level.

Luckily you can fast travel pretty much every where and anytime. I kept getting respawned in the air and died many deaths before I figured a way out if it.

IMO those 2 vids were pretty darn close...I hardly see that as "forsaking" us like the end implies. Not sure what he's talking about, aside from nitpicking specific details and whatnot.

What part of the cage do you have to shoot? I shot a cage once with my silenced sniper rifle and the animal was not freed and the guards were alerted. Made no sense to me.
