    Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

    Three quick questions:

-Are valuables simply for selling and that's it?

-How, when and where can I repec my characters? I see people saying this is possible but I don't see where.

-I have forgotten where I can add things to like gems to my weapons/armor slots. Is it simply at the blacksmiths?

    Thanks! Loving the game!

      1. Yes, from what I have seen they serve no purpose but to sell.

      2. There is this item you can buy. I think it's at the blacksmith tent at the buy/sell thing on the right. It cost 1 gold the first time and 345 from there on out

      3. Blacksmith, center table - modify weapons or armor

Make sure you go up on the info wheel thing when you pause and do the character mods.

You cycle through the rest of your party using D pad. There may be skill points you haven't assigned for them.

Secondly, tab over to tactics and make sure the new skills you have unlocked are being used. You can choose which one they prefer to use and also turn them off.

When I went in there once I noticed that some of my mages skills were turned to off so he wasn't casting them. Not sure why it didn't activate when I assigned it in the first place but games do this some times.

I got to use the War Table for the first time yesterday. It's fun in its simplicity. I need the weekend to real sit down and get wrapped up into this game. Just as it starts to get good I need to sleep for work. I still have my original party.

Dragons Dogma needs an HD release or PC release. My Magick Archer was destroying Death after awhile. Combat in that game was top notch.

After picking up the CE Guide and restarting I am really enjoying this game. Everything is starting to click and I now have a better understanding of what I need to do.

Game is easily a strong 9 if I had to score it. And to think I knew nothing about this game until last week. My son feels the same way. His most played game as of right now

Can mages learn any direct healing spells? Either its not on their skill trees or Im completely blind.

Another question, are valuables used for anything? Can you gift them to party members or should I just sell them all?

I just read on Kotaku that this game in not very user friendly to newbies to this series. Truth to that with anyone here giving this a go for the first time? Intrigued by this game mostly because I'm a big Bioware fan.

No direct healing spells, only barriers and buffers. The party has 8 potions that you will need to use.

You can sell all valuables (except research that you need to bring to the table beside Josephine). I usually put my garbage equipment in valuable (I don't like the way inventory is handled) and sell everything off.

Kinda funny how the Japs make better action RPGs than the west now. (Souls games, Dark Arisen/Dragons Dogma)

I only played DA Origins for a few hours and not much of Dragon Age II. But I reviewed the backstory on Kotaku and did the Dragon Age Keep to get up to date on the story. And I am having no problems adapting to the controls/gameplay. I am absolutely loving Inquisition. Here's the backstory link: http://kotaku.com/a-beginners-guide-...age-1658487212

Just wanted to chime in and say the game is a blast. I'm still taking my time and doing lots of exploring and just soaking it in. Love the tactical cam.
About to dig more into the crafting etc. .

Very very happy with the game.

Got my game yesterday. Haven't had time to see anything other than a quick look at character creation. Man these seem to be some ugly models on offer haha.

Can't wait to really get going tonight. Going mage.

And yeah definitely should play dragons dogma. The dragon fights were great stuff.

I'm usually not like all into these small type of details, but crafting an armor recipe and the color changing based if I'm using iron/drake stone as the primary is just awesome.

Only played about 3-4 hours but I love this game. Been doing a lot of quests around the Hinterlands
