Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Get barrier early. It will help protect you from damage. Then concentrate on one school of magic with maybe a secondary spell in another school. Thats what got me through those early levels.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I ran into a bug, where after you complete a mission, the game will just freeze during the cut scene for about 20 to 30 seconds. Happened twice. Just weird because you will see the characters just staring at each other waiting for somebody to say something, but nobody says anything for 20 to 30 seconds.
I wish you could choose your own specialty class. Don't like how the game automatically hand them out with no input from you.Comment

I am reading about a lot of other people experiencing crashes and some of them losing saves. I have my save on a sub-account, but tried moving it to my main PS Plus account via USB...but...my PS4 will not recognize my USB under exFat or Fat32Last edited by Spongedaddy; 11-24-2014, 11:59 AM.DON'T PANICComment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
As I am advancing I am starting to see the true beauty of this game. My understanding of what is going on as well as what I should be doing is increasing and this game is really starting to shine. Between this and FC4/GTAV I don't care to see a new release for at least 3-6 months.
If I had to give this game a score it would be mid 9's for me.The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

I'm sitting at my desk daydreaming about this game. It's easily my favorite game this year. After a weekend with it I'm starting to compare this game with the Original DA as far as story and scope.Comment

I'm thinking the same too. Whenever I'm not playing the game, I'm thinking about playing the game. Absolutely loving it.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
the only big bugs I've run into on the PC version is sometimes the coversation option will not be selectable with the mouse, would have to use the keyboard and select a number.
Had the game crash a few times when i reload in Skyhold. once start the game back up and load that same save, it's fine. It's just when I'm already in the game and reload a save that is in the Skyhold(throne room from my tests). I don't know if that may be a result of me playing in borderless windows mode and constantly going in and out of the game window, or just something buggy with Skyhold and loading assets, etc.
There are plenty of annoyances with the PC version, mainly because it wasn't designed for mouse/Keyboard.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
So I made an attempt to battle that dragon that's in the Hinterlands. Bad idea.
My party got dropped in 45 seconds lol. Any strategies? Also what level should you be to actually have a fighting chance?Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
SpoilerIts a basically a three stage fight. Barrier helps a whole lot as well as a mage with ice magic. I changed my tactics on my mage to prefer Barrier. My party had Cassandra, Blackwall, Solas (Ice Mage).
1st stage:SpoilerThe first time you see it will be flying over head. If you cant kill the baby dragons run away and come back. If you can kill them, then just avoid the big dragons fire as best as possible. Cast barrier and or some type of group protection when he spits fire. After a couple of flybys he will fly off.Mop up any remaining small dragons and move on.
2nd stage spoilersSpoilerThis is where the real fight starts. You should see him in the valley waiting for you. Barrier again and try to stay under him when hes on the ground. Hit any leg you can but stay away from his fire. Getting close to his tail will get you lashed. He will eventually fly off and attack from the air, land on a perch and throw baby dragons at you. Kill those baby dragons and use range while he is perched. Then Rinse and repeat.
3rd stage spoilersSpoilerHe will eventually fly away and land on top of the hill. His life should be about a 1/4 now. Just hack away away watching for the same attacks hes thrown at you the whole fight.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
What is the best way to make mass amounts of money ? Because man the stuff in Skyhold and that city of Orlay is expensive as hell. And for some reason I can't recruit Dorian. Saw him once right before Skyhold during a cutscene and that was it.
Cassandra and Blackwall are my favorites, they are the last ones to die. Varic, Cole, Solas suck......they die quick.
I wish you could use all these damn agents you find as a companion instead. But anyway I need to get my money up for I can upgrade my armor and stuff. Red templars kill me with ease.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Pro tip: Keep an eye on your companions, sometimes when your trying to climb mountains or something your companions will teleport to the area where you are trying to get to. You then simply switch to them and boom, your up the mountain. Lol.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

1. Sell (do not destroy) every armor, weapon, ring, etc you don't use. BE SURE TO REMOVE ANY UPGRADES ON THE STUFF YOU DOBT USE. That is very important for crafting, I had this low lvl armor I found with a yellow upgrade item on it.
2. Do lots of side quests and stuff. You be surprised how much money you can earn with them.
3. On the map there should be a gather coin area on the left side of the Fereldon area of the map. Just send you agents there and they will get you coin.
Also if you are having trouble with dying then try crafting some stuff. If you are at red Templar and did decent exploring you should have some semi decent crafting items to make. You be surprised how much a different it makes.
God I love this game. I'm like 80 hours in and jusr got to the emerald glades. I literaly explore every region I get too.
I roll with Blackwall, Cassandra and Solas. I'm a knight enchanter mage and destroying people. I'll post a pic and video of how my combat goes.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Yeah I am getting better at crafting. That appears to be the cheapest route when it comes to having good stuff without dropping 10K coin on armor or a weapon. Now that Viv has the revive people from the dead ability, my party is doing better. But the most coin I ever had at one point was 4,200. Guess I need to send them to go get gold more often.
I LOL everytime I find a piece of armor that have a powerful name and think I hit the jackpot just to find it out my current armor is way stronger then what I found.Comment
