    Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

I've started my second play through as a Archer/Tempest. Knight Enchanter has nothing on a Tempest. Granted I am playing on Normal, but I just started laughing seeing a Dragons health bar melt with one Thousand Cuts move.

Knight Enchanter was more tank-like, you never die and keep generating barrier. Tempest, you don't even have to worry about getting hit because there is nothing left to kill you.

Enjoying Dual Wield/Stealth (probably going Assassin whenever i get the specialization)....

Tempting to go archer though too, that does seem fun. Maybe i'll play as Sera a bit to try it out. Thinking I'd go as a Mage the 2nd time through.

And it's worth it too. Once you figure out how to pierce through what she's saying. She has some of the best conversations.

And the courting mission is just hilarious. It also has an implication about the inquisitor that...you're all just gonna need to either YouTube the scene or play until you get there.

But then, Cassandra ain't bad herself. Especially once you find out she's a closet fangirl.

Edit: And the funniest thing of all to do is bring Sera on a dragon hunt. That Thousand Cuts move is beyond OP. Even though it seems like it would make more sense to use it with a duel wielding rouge.

Man, I'm 37 hours in and i get this error code (CE-34878-0) on my Playstation 4?...now i cannot load any of my saved games?...anyone else know what is going on with my system?

edit: ok, so i can load a save from the 35 hour mark, but the game seems to crash or something in the Hinterlands...lost about 2 hours worth of gaming and progress!

Sometimes i really hate video games!

I've been playing dual wield rogue & also sword & board characters & love them both. But I have to pick one to continue with the game, can't keep going back & forth or I'm never going to finish this. Both are really cool in their own way & totally different playing styles... Ughh, decisions...

In some videos I've seen on Youtube, they say if you set up your range to follow themselves they usually stay far back & it seems to work.

I stayed home from work on Monday and decided it was time to play something other than destiny. Popped in DA and I'm glad I did. It is a lot of fun. I started a human Ranger and he ended up looking like Green Arrow which was totally unintentional. Definitely has a Skyrim feel to it in terms of side quests which I like.

I decided instead of having a Mage and Archer to try Mage and Rogue

and have been pleasantly surprised. The only bad thing is, I had some really strong rogue weapons and armor that I sold earlier since I didn't think I would use it.

Yeah, I ran into that issue. I'm a content whore. I love seeing as much of what a game has to offer, especially a game like this. Like sometimes I get those specialized dialogues about my character's race. I'm dying to create a mage female qunari because, being my 3rd complete playthrough and having a good stance on the whole mage conflict and how things work, I wanna know myself what life is like for a mage qunari.

I also really love how you get to choose your own background. Like you can say whether you're on good terms with your parents or liked where you grew up or not.

And one issue I've seen is some dialogue options are locked out if you try to go to the slot where [Investigate] or the question that adds more detail usually is in the wheel. Like I wanted to hear more about something, but was still planning to use to romance option in the top left. I click the investigate option and then lose my chance. I still wound up hooking up with the character, but you never know when you passed a point of no return until you've played the game a bunch.

Well I've still been playing both & the thing is that when I play rogue it seems like my party is always taking damage, meaning the AI Tank doesnt seem to hold aggro very well. Everyone is off doing there own thing instead of fighting together.
When I play as a tank myself, no one takes damage at all. Im always at full guard & just collecting all the baddies with no problem.

Any tips on how to get the AI tank to hold aggro is much appreciated.

Should the dragons be left alone until the end, or just whenever? Basically is there a loot reason to hold off?

I haven't read or heard any reason to put off going after them whenever your character is strong enough.
