Is there a specific level you should be at to fight the dragons? I'm currently a level 18 and tried fighting the dragon located in the Hitherland's at level 10 and got destroyed. Should I go back to that one again now?

I also tried fighting a few others a few levels ago and didn't even get it's heath down to half.

The one in the Hitherlands is supposed to be the weakest, you should be able to beat him at 18. I always try to make sure we concentrate attacks on one of the legs, this will at one point cause the dragon to fall down and stay down for an extended period.

From what I read, dragons level with you after their minimum level (hinterlands dragon is 12). Also, from what I read, the Crestwood dragon is supposed to be easier.

They do level with you but by lvl 18 he should be able to start beating them. I had more trouble with the Crestwood, but neither are overly powerful.

The Crestwood dragon was definitely easier IMO.

Took down the hinterlands dragon at level 11 with Varric, Cassandra, and The Iron Bull, with me being a mage.

Other location I started was storm cost, saw the dragon at the very beginning and went the opposite way. Later I watched her fight a giant, and win, then she shot a couple lightning balls at me then flew off and I collected the giant's loot. After that, I have no idea where it went, I found the area with dragonlings but no dragon. Oh well, I'll find it eventually.

Ive never seen that dragon kill the giant. Usually the dragon flies off when I get too close to the fight, then the Giant runs over my team.

Guess I just stopped far enough away. They fought for a while, should have probably taken a poke at the dragon just to see what it's health was like, but I just dodged its lightning balls and it flew off.

Does starting a romance with one companion mean I can't start a romance with any others? I currently have the option of starting one with Cassandra and Josephine. I was wondering if I could progress with one girl up to a point, stop, then try with another.

Just came across a dragon and giant fighting in the middle of nowhere. I don't know why they we're fighting, but I stood there and watched for like 10 minutes. The Dragon eventually just flew away. Then we killed the giant

Edit: Just noticed Burns11 just posted about the same thing

You can flirt with both for a while, but eventually you will have make a choice, and if you go "too far" along the path with both, then there will be some drama when you break up with one of them.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I have a save that allows me to start a romance with either one (I've been flirting with both the whole time). So would starting a romance with one immediately cut me off from the other?

Yes. You immediately put the other in the friend zone.

Man, skyhold is kind of overwhelming, and unfortunately not in a good way as I think running all over this place will become unbearable (it's already annoying). On the positive side you can't die, so jumping from the ramparts is slightly amusing.
