    Tendrils, are you talking about FC3? AC isn't in First Person now is it? I refuse to watch any videos, want to experience it all. But if it's First Person, not a choice of mine.

      FC3 = FPS

      AC = 3rd person, so you're good.

          I have noticed the on screen HUD on the bottom left corner don't always match the area you are actually in. It has been many times I ran into a reef or cliff during a fog because I was relying on the HUD to avoid things.

            Has anyone tried the multiplayer? I enjoyed it in AC3 but drifted away to 1000 other things and never really delved into the complexities of it.

            I'm thinking of getting the game for Christmas but I'm still somewhere in AC2 as far as the series goes so if MP isn't that great or is deserted I will wait for price drops and play everything in order.

              Yes, I have gone into game lab, designed some custom modes and have enjoyed it so far. There 1000s of ways you can design custom multiplayer games. Still for me, co-op wolfpack mode is an absolute blast, especially if you have people who know what they are doing. Pistols only mode was fun too.

              The issue is, the single player is so compelling, it will be hard to get away from it. Plus once the said they removed Naval Multiplayer, that was a major buzzkill.

                I feel like I am at the end of the game with all the plot twists that happened last night when I was playing. I tried to kill a great white shark, ran out of harpoons, I was a sad panda because I was only 1 harpoon away from killing him. I wish you could just BUY armor. All the hunting for armor that you have to craft is a buzz kill because a lot of the animals are hard to find.

                  I have gotten to the point in the game where you have no choice but to severely upgrade your ship. Mission areas be crawling with level 50 to level 75 ships. So now I am just hunting the weaker ships. level 17 and below LOL. I noticed in this game you can't throw heavy weapons like you could in AC2.

                    If you're finding metal hard to come by for your upgrades, don't reduce your wanted level. The hunters ships always contain metal.

                      Thanks Tim. I've been trying to upgrade my guns for the ship and couldn't figure out where to get metal. Most of the big ships near Misteriosa have tons of rum or sugar, but no metal.

                        That's why I just bit the bullet and did it now before I got too deep into the story. Also liberating the forts are a massive help

                          So I'm in the same boat as far as not getting PS4 until sometime spring next year. However I'm really becoming interested in this game.

                          How's it play on 360? I'm torn between 360 or waiting and going PC. I'm going to do my best to wait for Black Friday sales anyway, so not having it NOW doesn't bother me too bad. The only reason I'm even considering 360 is to play in the living room on the big screen. But i'm sure this thing is a beauty on PC...decisions decisions

                            Look pretty damn good on the 360, I was highly impressed. Just make sure you install the HD texture pack.

                              Ugh, ya'll are killing me, I think I'll gather a few more paychecks under by belt and then pull the trigger on this. Sounds like an awesome experience, and I did enjoy AC3 for what it was.

                                Reading all the impressions on here plus how good the reviews are is making it reallllly hard to hold off on this game.

                                I'd really like to wait and grab it for around $40 in a couple weeks. You know black Friday will have some deals. With GTA still around and BF4 it kind of makes it easier, but I have no will power.

                                My biggest dilemma is system. My PC is only about a year old so I know this would look fantastic on it. But I kind of want/need something to get into inside (my pc is in my man cave of a garage) when the kids are running around and I can't just shut myself in. Plus the couch/controller/bigger TV.

                                I'm just kinda going off on a tangent there sorry bout that fellas. I'm subconsciously wanting you to tell me to buy and and quit b*****ing, lol.
