I'd really like to wait and grab it for around $40 in a couple weeks. You know black Friday will have some deals. With GTA still around and BF4 it kind of makes it easier, but I have no will power.

My biggest dilemma is system. My PC is only about a year old so I know this would look fantastic on it. But I kind of want/need something to get into inside (my pc is in my man cave of a garage) when the kids are running around and I can't just shut myself in. Plus the couch/controller/bigger TV.

I'm just kinda going off on a tangent there sorry bout that fellas. I'm subconsciously wanting you to tell me to buy and and quit b*****ing, lol.

The compression is pretty bad, but here's some Xbox One footage.

I'm torn between AC Black Flag and Killzone Shadow Fall with NBA2k14 creeping in as well! Help!

I doubt anyone will share my exact opinion but here's my input. FPS are so played out and are my least favorite genre and I'd rather buy a cricket game before basketball.

Sorry, what did you think you're going to get from the AC thread?

But really, nobody has played either of those other games and AC4 is awesome. Not sure how to help.

Was never a fan of this series but this one looks like a lot of fun. Think I may pick it up for PS4.

Am I the only one that doesn't LOVE this game? It's lots of repetitive and/or nothingness...

                      Yes. Yes you are.

If this game is repetitive to you you should probably quit gaming.

Animal hunting is not the same as whaling is not the same is shipwreck diving is not the same as sea battles is not the same as templar hunting is not the same as fort takeovers is not the same as sacking warehouses is not the same as smugglers dens is not the same as collecting animus fragments.....

And I didn't even mention any of the story.

Ship battles and boarding seem to follow the same pattern, and the world is made up of a few actual locales and a hell of a lot of copy/pasted islands.

I don't hate the game, I'd give it a 7.5/10, I just expected more. I dunno, it's just missing something.

If you take any singular thing to do in any game and focus on just that then of course it'll feel repetitive. If you're bored with ship battles then go find something else to do. If it feels repetitive it might be your own fault.

Have you battled a legendary? Go find the HMS Prince in the south east. I'll bet that won't seem like every other battle.

Anyone not enjoy AC 3 but found the love for this one?

AC 3 wore me out at the beginning and the Animus stuff is a little tired.

                              This one better?

It has to be like that. It's the Carribean Sea. It's the ocean. Oceans are big. What do you want it to be?

Would it feel right to sail out of Kingston and in two seconds be in Nassau? Use fast travel if that's your biggest complaint.

What if you're trying to battle the Royal convoy and the game world is populated to the gills with more ships or islands? How you gonna maneuver without ramming random ships or running a ground?

I don't see how a more populated map would make the game better. It's the ocean. If you've never been on one I'll tell you, they're 99.99% water. Also, this is the new world. It's not the old country with huge populated cities. It's still very wild. I think Ubisoft did a terrific job accurately portraying the time and place.
