My son got the PS4 for Christmas and I played AC4 for a while. The game looks amazing. I have heard it is a straight port from CG. Does the game look almost as good on the PS3?

Just got this game today, having a ton of fun so far, love the island environments!

I could never get into the other AC games besides maybe 2 but just the opening intro has me hooked.

Nearly. There's no big changes in models or even textures, but PS4 runs at higher res, better framerate, sharper, etc.

Keep moving and change direction when being fired at (what usually works, when you see the yellow targets start to come up, drop your sails then either reverse course or go sails all the way out and you can make the other ship miss entirely), then mortar, broadside, and swivel gun when you can. I tried not to get too close, easier to dodge incoming fire that way, I just got barely within broadside distance and tried going parallel with the fort, I would always drift closer but the fort was down before I took much damage.

My only major gripe with this game (apart from some on-foot controls) is swimming. I hate swimming, but its rarely good in any game.

I picked up Black Flag PS4 today and was looking to get my hands on that code.

Does anyone happen to have an upgrade code for the ps4 that they are not planning on using? The codes expire on the end of january and just got a used ps3 copy the gamestop employe told me I just had to have the disk..

Spoilers are really with minor/major storyline concerning Adawale only. The story takes place after his adventures with Edward.

I say minor/major because its hard for me to decide how big the spoiler is. The part of the story that gets spoiled doesn't happen until Sequence 11 of the main game.

In my opinion, you can play the DLC and then finish the main story to fill in the gaps.

Once you clear a fort it shows them for that area or sync view points in the ports.

Just curious, how do most play the game??? Do you synchronize all the area, find chest, wanted posters first or do you play straight through the story???
