    ONE MORE SLEEP

I am about to drive to a job interview, the round trip driving time will be about 3 hours so that will be a good chunk of my day. Then I just gotta find game or movies to pass the time tonight. Phew, almost there.

I have a Spotify playlist ready and I think I will also be rocking the Interstellar OST on loop as well.

Probably going to grab it this weekend. I have seen a lot of people having issues with the game crashing. Anyone here have many issues?

I've crashed twice now in probably about 15 hours with the game so far.

I'm not going to comment on whether or not I have had a game crash due to the fact that the second I do, I will get a game crash lol

To add: As long as you aren't taking long excursions from your ship into unknown territory, you probably don't need to worry too much about progress lost on crashes. The game saves anytime you enter your ship or activate one of the beacons near structures (which seem to be spaced roughly a 2 minute walk apart). You're not going to lose hours of progress unless you simply choose not to save.

                Re: No Man's Sky

I still have unclaimed units in the options menu prompts, but when I go there, i looks like I've claimed everything unless there is an awkward part of the page I don't know about.

The game is just super chill though and I like not being rushed - not in every game but it's a nice change of pace and they've managed to create a game where you can kill and destroy but I prefer not to because i'm more interested in the exploration/trading/learning angle.

I killed a sentinel robot that was attacking me as I was gunning a door down, but that's about it.

The progression is really dependent on your motivation as well, like I've logged maybe 4.5 hours and jumped to a new galaxy and have been to 8 or so planets. I'm sure some have only been to 1 or 2 in that time and many others probably more galaxies.

I did name one planet 'Dino DNA' as a nod to jurassic park because there were so many little dinosaurs running around, seemed like 40 or so in my vicinity.

I tend to stay close to my ship at all times. Too much of a chicken to venture too far away from it. The feeling of "I'm alone out here with no safety net" is a real feeling in this game. My ship provides some sort of protection

Yeah, I use it to get out of the elements when I need to (especially during storms and such). Plenty of other in-game reasons to stay near your ship than just lowering the risk of a crash.

I'm 11 hours in. Only on my second planet. Love how this game is whatever you want it to be.

It has crashed on me more than a couple times but I usually know when it's coming and I get my behind to a save point.

My game will suddenly stutter a bit more, music will skip.

I just started my 30 minute walk back to my spaceship. Yeah...

Got half way there before finding a save spot and leaving for work.

I loved traveling by foot but realized I should probably get to my spaceship so I can get to one of those machines that let's me trade. My suit is full, as is my ship and I don't want to dismantle the potential units I have on me.

I wish we could build rovers.
