    Re: No Man's Sky

Yeah I know we've said it over and over and I'm kinda just spinning my wheels here, repeating myself from earlier in the thread, but I think this game will be whatever you make of it.

All I expect is to be able to explore endlessly. I don't expect romance, deep conversations with thousands of NPCs, anything like that. I just want to explore, craft, and have an adventure at my own pace.

I get where you you guys are coming from, but it's not like there will be tons of NPCs with "lives" and anything resembling a complex society for a game so I don't see how you can truly make this into whatever you want. If I want to make it into a journey where I'm a bounty hunter Ireally don't see that as a possibility or a great number of other ideas.

        Re: No Man's Sky

It kind of goes back to something that was said on here awhile ago.

As soon as gamers were shown an "open universe sandbox" style game, imaginations ran wild. I think the community has probably built a pedestal for the game that it will have a hard time fitting on for everyone.

As far as I know all I was promised is a universe to freely explore, and some sort of interaction with alien species at some point. I think anything else is kind of "speculation." Unless I've missed some details confirmed from the devs, which is possible as I've intentionally not watched a lot of interviews or gameplay showcases.

They've revealed quite a bit about how the game plays out, not everything, but enough.

The No Man's Sky developers haven't been shy about how hard it has been to work on the game and after the last delay, all fans want to hear is some good news for the game. After the death threats, the founder of Hello Games (the developers behind No Man's Sky) has been relati ...

                  Re: No Man's Sky

My PSN preorder was canceled and No Man's Sky has been removed from the PS4 preorder page. It now has a date of 12/31/16 on PSN but you have to search for the game to even come up.

No clue what that all means.

                          When did you pre-order?

They actually refunded everyone that pre-ordered for the game so as to avoid those money back complaints from the initial release day delay.

Possible you're just now seeing this.

I preordered back when it first listed.

Usually I get an email (Got 2 for Uncharted 4) saying the game was delayed and to "click here" if you want to keep your preorder active despite the delay. I didn't get that for NMS, just canceled. And NMS was in that preorder list a few weeks if not days ago. Now it's gone completely.

I know nothing of what's going on however, just could be weird coincidences and the cancellation being the topper. Just thought I would share the info whether it's correct or not LOL.

Yeah, I thought they already did the cancellation bit when they announced the last delay?

                              No change on Steam either.
