I think streaming on Twitch will be fun since everyone's experience will be different.

Luckily, I still remember when I grew up in the 80's and imagination was motivation. This seems like the perfect recipe to visualize that for me.

Good point....but I've played games like Minecraft, and get bored just making new houses/structures. I know a lot of people enjoy that, but I'd need more of a point.

I'm the same way with running. I ran track/cross country in high school, but just don't have the passion to run on my own. I need goals and something to strive towards.

Plus now as a dad/husband I don't really have as much free time, so I have to pick carefully.

Well the goal in the game is to get to the center of the universe. Sean Murray stated that you will need to do all kinds of stuff to get there - such as upgrade your ship, your suit. I think other things were mentioned as well.

This is an amazingly deep article from Kataku. Truly made me feel some feelings.

The anticipation of this game is like no other in my opinion. For me at least.

"Every astronaut that travelled into space and turned to look at the Earth has had a common revelation. The planet is small. So small and fragile. It’s just hanging there in a black void, housing all of our history and probably most of our future. They describe it as the most amazing sight in the universe. Even if they were standing on the moon or could see countless stars, almost everyone who has left the Earth has said they couldn’t take their eyes off our home planet. Any problems or differences human beings may have on the surface instantly disappear and mean nothing in the blackness of space. From out here, two countries going to war seems about as important as an overdue gas bill."

It's a good thing the fighting wasn't important to me, because that trailer looked pretty bad.

It definitely looks like its just kinda there. Almost like it was never intended, but put in to attract the people who want this to be that type of game.

Yeah, the combat didn't look especially awful, just very basic and bland. Maybe the trailer just didn't show it off well, and maybe it's better than it looked, but everything looked very uninspired in that trailer. Could be that it just wasn't shown off well, Murray was lead gameplay programmer for Black, so shooting shouldn't be so foreign to design.

Yeah pretty much what I expected it to look like.

I'm definitrly curiois about the trade trailer, looking forward to that one dropping

Wonder if there could be another delay at the 11th hour.

I really hope not, and I really doubt it. The company seemed like they don't want to cause issues with the launch so that's good.

I'm sure they will work something out if this is an actual issue.

But if it does actually get delayed again, and over this - It will be like a gut punch from a prize fighter.

Yeah it will be a huge kick to my nuts if this gets delayed again.
