I have discovered what I call the "fight clubs." One looked like a king's court complete with mechanical dog.

Made it to day 39, a couple days after winter. My camp is starting to look awesome I have about 5 improved farms, crock pot, dry rack, chest full of food, 2 others full of supplies

I bought the game after reading this thread and I love it. I've only made it to day 5 before dying to a tree guardian, learning as you go makes this game so hard but addicting.

I feel your pain. I was playing with Abby last night and had 5 improved farm, the crock pot, and drying rack on day 19. I just needed to load up on supplies. Then the stupid hounds came again. I thought cool, I built a log suit and went to put it on, only it was gone. I'm sure I didn't drop it. No clue what happened.

Kite those suckers right into your Beefalo herd, assuming you're setup/somewhere close to them when they come

I made it to day 35 earlier before saving. I thought I had been all set to survive the first winter, but my food stores ran out after only about ten days. I've had to resort to trapping rabbits but unfortunately I set up base camp near the pig village which is a ways away from the plains in my map.

This game is so simple but such a blast. Much better than I expected from a free game.

This game is so simple but such a blast. Much better than I expected from a free game.

That's because it's usually a $15 game (and worth every penny of that, IMO)

This game is so frustrating. I was cruising along day 20 doing well and getting ready for winter. Then I wasn't paying attention and night came quickly. I was immediately fumbling through the menu trying to start a fire but couldn't for some reason. The darkness got me. Damnit.

Something similar happened to me just now. I was on day 40 or so and the little hand reached out of the darkness, except there were two of them, completely put out my fire. Couldn't light a torch quickly enough, got killed by darkness. Luckily, I got revived by a method I won't spoil because I'm not sure how to use the spoiler thing on Tapatalk.

I just made it to day 6 before I starved to death. First time I really sat down to play. Pretty fun once you start to figure things out.

My camp at 89 days playing with the Lumberjack. Day 70ish I was attacked by a giant deerclops. I led it toward a beefalo herd resulting in its demise and about 60 beefalo meat dropped.

The hound packs are becoming bigger with more vicious alphas.

Cruising for most part until day 25.. went out to get some stones and didn't realize the cold would be so brutal. Froze to death and got resurrected, still camp was too far from resurrection site froze again before building a fire. Lesson learned.

I have played with all but the last 3 now. Not sure who I want to use in my next game. I had an great start to a camp recently. Unfortunately, it was too close to a walrus camp, and a trap undid my game. Lessons learned.
