      On day 20

      1 dry rack
      5 farms
      3 chest
      1 crock pot
      1 bee box
      1 fish pole
      1 bug net
A bunch of gems and items recovered from graves.

I'm just struggling to find a gear, I need to make a ice box.

I still don't understand what the gems and magic do. Finding a gear was hard as hell, although making an ice box is a game changer. I think I have 6 chests full of random stuff I've found and at least one full of bunnies. Still trying to find more gears for another ice box. Also have three crock pots going with dragon pies. having a bird cage helps with that.

Going into 40 or so days, only had two scares between a walrus and the last hound attack. Allowed beefalo kill walrus but lost a number of buffalo and then let bees destroy four hounds.

I'm in a stone wall fort up against water and right next to grassland and a walk away from beehives ponds and forest. 6 farms, four crock pots, two drying racks, four chests and the little animal that holds stuff and a teepee along with 5 berry bushes. Starting to plant grass, trees, and twigs outside the walls to self sustain. My hardest thing is rocks which are a long trek away past walrus camps and some other camp with metal horses and rhinos that are aggressive.

I think this is a good experience because I'm learning how to sustain and traveling outside a little bit more than usual play through . So when this ends I'll pick a new character and have more know how so instead of one big camp I may have several small ones set up so I can venture out more across the map.

Yea I have not got far enough in to utilize the magic and other parts. I'm primarily focusing on getting my camp setup where it runs itself and is self efficient. Once I get my situation where I don't have to go out every time day light hits just to gather supplies to survive "one more night" I'll be able to focus on exploring the map.

I have still not survived my first winter so I'm still focusing on that being my first goal. Oh and I'm using Wendy, her lack of strike power really hurts (requires two hits on a rabbit). I would not use her again once I die, her dead sister is not much of a positive. While she is great at dropping mobs its to difficult to get her consistently when needed I find.

I died on Day 95 was attacked by a tree guard. Ordinarily they're not a problem, but I tried to get one to kill a beefalo for me. He sliced me once and soon as I returned to my camp the hounds came. I had my camp boobie trapped with about ten wood spike things, but the last 3 hounds got to me and finished me off.

              8 improved farms
              25ish berry bushes
              3 fire pits
              2 ice boxes
              5 chest
              2 drying racks
              1 bee box
              1 tent
              1 bird cage

Why are people using so many crock pots?

Did use a fire staff on some hounds. It was cool until it ran in circles panicking lighting my entire collection on berry bushes on fire.(not on my 95 day game, but another)

Crock pots make some good meals that almost fill up your hunger depending on what you make. Plus you can leave the food in the crock pot and it never spoils

My go to is a morsel and three veggies for meatballs.

Yea meatballs are better for sure. They both server their purposes, meatballs supply more hunger while kabobs more sanity and health.

Fish sticks is another key one if you want a boost in health.
                      2 monster meat + 1 fish + 1 twig = 40 health, 37 hunger, 5 sanity.

Now the best in my opinion because you can meet this goal almost daily.

My games have been short lately. I have great starts but I tend to explore a bit too much and get into trouble. Also, how do you see the point values for sanity, hunger, and health? I found the info once when I was playing on the Vita, but I have never seen it playing on the PS4.

Well, I wanted to throw my computer against the wall here. I was doing about as well as I've done (not yet figured this game out. Seems like there isn't enough time to do all you need to do).

I had about 30 berry bushes, 50 saplings, 2 crock pots, 4 advanced farms and 1 drying rack on day 13. I had a decent area of forest I planted. Needed some wood so I decided that night would be a great time for that. Then a tree comes alive. I high tail it out of there, but he walks across my campfire. Sets himself on fire and then runs through my camp. There were no survivors.
