I have not. I am really reading a lot of the politics and thus far I have not leaned to one party/faction or another as of now.

I upgraded to a kick *** Cobra MKIII

Sale value on her is almost 1MM credits with all her upgrades.

My space combat skills have really cranked up and my days wth X-Wing vs Tie Fighter have come back to me like a light bulb.

Have 3 fire groups set up.

Pulse Laser
Guided missles

Rail gun
Torpedo launcher

Pulse laser
Rail gun

Kill warrant scanner
Data scanner


Learning how to transfer power during battles, boost out of trouble, circle back it all has come back to me.

I collected 3 bounties this morning and it felt great.

I am leaning to being a smuggler/bounty hunter type and running missions for those that pay me well.

xwing vs tie fighter, those were some fun games back in day. Been lurking in this game forum, and seeing if this game might might make my library, so this game is MMO space? Sounds very interesting and fun. Deeper than expected. Multiple ships possible? You can explore planets on surface as well?

Yes there are 15 ships I believe in the game for purchase but don't quote me on that number. You can also explore many planets on the surface but not all. This really is one of the best games I've ever played.

Bought a Viper mkIV today pretty expensive but in reality midrange for ships (400k). I like it and am working to fix it up. I'll probably also buy a cheaper ship purely for mining purposes. One thing I have struggled with is the combat. Once a ship gets behind me I have a heck of a hard time regaining the advantage. Guess I'll have to watch some videos.

I run with the Viper Mk IV as well. Nice all-purpose ship. Saving up for a Vulture.

I did fine on the beginning battles in my Diamondback. I upgraded to the Cobra and did not fare as well. Same with the Viper. I am guessing it was mainly because they were against fairly easy opponents and because the DB is so maneuverable.

I am hopelessly addicted to this game. So much so I have not found time to finish my year one 2017 Yankees chise which is in August and I am in a really awesome pennant race.

But....it's that good.

Same with me man I'm in year two of my Marlins chise and have been pretty into it. But since Elite came out I've done nothing but fly around space lol. To the other poster I have the legendary edition but on ps4...it basically just came with the horizons expansion and I think 1k credits. I Bought the only copy from my local gamestop

I have a fully decked out Diamondback Explorer and will be cruising and adventuring with this ship for a little while.

I pledged my allegiance to the Federation.

This game is truly what you want to make it. I am getting more and more daring in my missions and doing a lot of smuggling of illegal cargo and passengers.

I have done several tourist trips netting huge credits (1.7-2M per trip). But they are long journeys and some of my tourists are illegal or high power figures which draw attention.

I have also done some planet surface missions taking out power grids with my ship and high tailing out of dodge.

Fun times.

Cannot wait, soon as I finish the batman games, already finished Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, just Arkham Night to go. Will get this bad boy. Always trust some of the guys(especially Armor and Chubby) in this forum on game picks.

Just keep in mind the narrative is text from the mission boards and you use your own imagination to make them come to life.

It's not a cut scene game or anything like that. It is a true MMO space ship simulator and a living breathing universe that changes hourly.

The learning curve is steep but once you learn how to fly and land your ship (took me 2-3 hours and I was on my way but make no mistake you will go through some real frustration learning) and understand the pros and cons of all the upgrades you can make to ships....you are on your way to some very cool, cerebral fun.

That picture was taken during a passenger mission that was a 3 stopper that grabbed me about 4.5 million credits and was about 500ly total round trip.

I have some missions on my board that will net me 35 million plus but I don't feel like going to Beagle Point with passengers that lose their **** when they are scanned. I've done long trips before only to come back to the station and get scanned and have them fail the mission.

Think I'm going to purchase this when I get home. Reading everyone's experience with this game seems like it's a can't miss. I'm willing to take on the learning curve.

I have literally had Elite Dangerous in my cart for about a month now going back on forth on whether or not I want to buy it. Been one of the hardest decisions on buying a game that I can remember. I loved NMS when it came out.....for about a week and I love space stuff, so you would think the decision would be easy for me lol.
