Yeah I don't see how that effects you in a SP at all. I couldn't care less. The SP will not be any less fun cause of it.

Folks just don't like thinking someone else may have something they don't but yet they don't want to pay for it either. That's why it bothers them.

I agree. I mean, I see everyone's legit complaints about micro transactions, but really, and unfortunately, that's the way things have trended and will continue that way. If you just play the game, and don't let it bother you, the game is still fun.

I'll still enjoy this game, any FPS that allows Micro transactions, etc.

this game looks like a mix between Black Flag and Prince of Persia.

They have existed in this franchise since Black Flag, where you could pay like $4 to show all treasures on the map.

Watching this Game Informer video showing this game's microtransactions, and it's just a lot pointless stuff to me. When a game's design is clearly influenced by microtransactions, negatively affecting the experience, is when I take issue. That isn't the case here.

I see your point, and your point in your other post somewhat, but my issue is that I'm already paying $59.99, so I expect to be able to have a full, unrestrained experience for the game I just shelled out $60 for. I buy DLC for almost all of the titles I own, but those actually add more depth to the experience already paid for, rather than making the endgame more achievable. My fear is that single player games will eventually, and maybe sooner rather than later, go the route that loot boxes, gold, and the likes of Helix points are necessity rather than optional to even finish the game.

I'm on the verge of taking this off the topic of the game and more to the endless debate of micro-transactions, so I'll leave it at that.

Game is so huge.........I spent 4 hours in the 1st city. Finally left it. Game of The Year. Enemies in this game is no joke. Wonder into the wrong region when you aren't equipped enough and you will die pretty fast. I love the hunting aspect of it and crafting. Love just blazing through the water in boats. Graphics on the PC version all maxed out is just INSANE. Love the giant variety of weapons too. The level of detail they put on all those Egyptian ruins is just crazy. At times I caught myself just looking at all the artwork and stuff on the buildings. Still haven't made it to Alexandria yet. Do love the fact they have all the regions labeled with what ranks all the enemies are at in that area.

Just picked up my Collectors Edition guide. Anyone who is interested in the e-guide code speak now or forever hold your peace. All that I ask is that you use the code and not sell it for profit because I could just do that. Thanks

Played until I got my camel and got to the first town last night. Not too impressed with the graphics to be honest, a little bit of jerkiness on the Xbox One S on the draw in (slight but it's there)...but then I bought this for the Xbox Scorpio anyways so will be interesting to compare the two versions.

There's definitely a little learning curve. The combat is very different and i need to get used to it. It's very Witcher and Dark Souls esque.

It looks really good the PS4 Pro in 4K HDR so i know it'll look slightly better on the One X.
