I haven't made a single video for BFV since it's release. Even the rounds where I play really well and it's fun aren't memorable or unique enough for me to put together clips, but here's some randomness from everyone's favorite worst conquest map.

        Youtuber Gage Allen created this pretty amazing Battlefield cinematic short using BF1 & BFV gameplay footage. <iframe width="740" height="440" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ghpqr-oGB3Q" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Bought this last week and has been playing it a lot. This game is actually fun. Should of bought it earlier. Never understood the hate it gets.

              Battlefield V

Patch is out and people are complaining about killcam. I read on Reddit when we die we have to see who killed us for 5-6 seconds before we get to respawn. I pray to god the kill cam isn't like older Battlefield games. They just looked janky and if this kill cam is like that I would be upset and expect to see the return of tea bags smh. COD has it right when it comes to kill cam. Guess I will find out later today when I download the patch.

I've got just under 100 hours played on Battlefield V (about 300 rounds played, 80% win) so I think I've felt the game out pretty well and I understand a lot of the complaints.

Here are my thoughts about the negatives. I'm spoilering in case anyone just wants to enjoy and not read it. I could go on about some of these takes for a while, but I won't.

I enjoy the game FWIW, but it's a step backwards in the fun category from Battlefield 1. There are a lot of things that are better, but they zapped a lot of the fun out of it and went to the extreme with some changes. It's going to be a really good game down the road IMO, but leaves a lot to be desired right now. I'm gonna play tonight and see how the patch changed some things.

                  Re: Battlefield V

I'm with you on the maps. One way to mitigate the maps that are too big is by playing game modes other than conquest.

Conquest is always going to be popular, but I've had the most fun playing the smaller stuff. It's.more cohesive, teamwork is needed more and you can really play most, if not all of the maps as you're only playing sections at a time.

Not sure if anyone here played the Incursions alpha or beta in BF 1 but that was an absolute BLAST. Seems counterintuitive to the BF series, being a 5v5 (maybe a few were bigger, I forget. No more than 10v10) but it was really very enjoyable. They're spread too thin as it is with game modes ATM so I don't know that adding more would be a good idea right now. But I really hope they bring Incursions mainstream.

If people would try it and give it a serious go before writing it off for being too different, I think it could be very popular.

I saw they were adding a 16V16 game mode with two teams with 8 man squads and that's pretty intriguing to me.

I had fun playing the game, but recently had a friend buy me Post Scriptum and I haven't had the desire to come back to play this. I miss the destruction, but outside of that PS just feels more like my nostalgic memories of BF1942 and BF2 and even BC2 than what BFV feels like. I think I just need to accept that BF has gone on and left those of us who enjoyed the original games behind.

PS is an amazing game that takes A LOT of teamwork. And when you get it it's incredibly rewarding...and exhausting lol.

But I did the opposite, having played PS first then BF. BF just looks and more importantly runs head and shoulders better. PS is a great game though.

I received the game for Christmas but haven't really played the mp much until today. I really have enjoyed it so far. I do find it's hard to see enemies in the distance at times but it doesn't ruin the experience. I'm on the PS4 Pro & it runs really smooth at least in conquest which I've only touched so far. It is a fast pace chaotic game but I don't mind that. Overall I'm having fun & that's what matters in the end.

So my local video store did a gamers appreciation day on Sunday and you got a free 5 night rental so I rented this. I like it. It's ok, not as good as 4 imo.

This is probably gonna sound like a ridiculously noob question, but how do you get new weapons? I can't seem to figure it out. I didn't play BF1 much so I was used to ranking up unlocking weapons like in BF4 and COD. So yeah, I'm confused. I'm probably just missing something completely obvious.

Battlefield 4 is one of the worst in the series in my opinion. I hated, hated the gunplay in that game and the maps were terrible. Only thing good abou that game is the setting. I like modern combat.

I cannot fathom this. BF4 was an amazing game, after the kinks were worked out.

The game is still $20 used, 5+ years later while BFV is $30 3 months after lunch.
