Started playing yesterday, have my level 7 mage already.

The PS3 version isn't conducive to being a healer or a tank, although I think you could pull it off. I'm pretty sure being a DPS, like an archer or mage is definitely possible though.

        I hit 25 lancer earlier.

Ran into an OS dude lastnight. Strolling through the forest and one of those lvl25 scorpions slapped him in the back lmao.

It's really not as bad as it seems when you're starting out...for the party dungeons it's really easy - up and down cycle through the party list, so that makes for pretty quick healing. FATES are tougher- those basically require you to use the"friends" filter to cycle through the targeting.

When I get back on Sunday I can take a few screenshots - it is PC but I use a gamepad interface primarily.

Hey guys started leveling my leatherworker. If anyone sends me material i will return it with gear when i get a higher level. I have no problem dropping gil on supplies but figured we could find a way to benefit us all.

It's not so much the controls, the controls are magnificent and prove that you can have a very deep MMO on consoles.

The PS3 is just so severely underpowered. It stutters in high population areas. Sometimes guys don't show up until about 5 seconds. Now it's nothing super serious, but I feel this game will be much, much better on PS4 when it comes out.

Finished a bunch of low level leather work before server maintenance, hmu if you need gear for low level classes. Free of charge. Its not worth a damn but good city clothes and of course new classes.

Grats! I went 0/33 trying to get my bow. Ended up just doing Garuda, and Titan HM with my crappy lvl50 GC bow.

Went 36 to 50 on PLD from thursday until last night.. Armoury exp bonus from having a level 50 is just ridiculous.. Was getting 52k EXP on the gorgimera fate in north thanalan.. Now have 50 WAR and PLD First thing I'm asked to do after hitting 50 PLD was tank the Chimera for relic quest, followed by dual tanking Amdapor Keep with a WAR friend of mine, and then tanking Ifrit for about 10 runs with no Sword drop.. Fun times, love this game.
