From some videos I've seen on Youtube, the game has been greatly improved since launch. Plus with no subscription I will give it a try on my PS4.

Once it goes on sale for $15/20 I'll pick it up. It was a mess in beta and at launch, but they've been making strides. Not near enough for me to think about picking it up at full price, but when that price drops I'll grab it.

I was going to go back in and check it out now that the subscriptions are off.
I guess a lot has changed. seems like it is just redownloading the entire game. Haven't played since launch(played on/off for 2 months). I may eventually get to play it again.

                    Re: Elder Scrolls Online

me and my bro RGMoney are back on. Lots of changes. Been reading up on all the new changes and builds on Deltia's website (just google Deltia Gaming). Rolled me a new all black Kajiit NB, got him to 15 in about a day and a half. There's changes to abilities and stuff also. For example for my nightblade there are some abilities that used to use magica but now use stamina and vice versa. I like it though because it was a rebalancing of resource usage to where now if a NB goes all stamina build, its rewarding and same goes for say a Sorc going all Magica build, etc.

Templars are now the new sexy. DK's got a little bit of a nerf. Sorcs now pump out DPS like a sorc should and NB's specced right are truly the one shot wonders of the DPS charts.

The crown system is interesting. It's not pay to win, crowns are just for cool costumes and mount stuff. If you see people riding around on black stallions that have fire hooves and breathe fire, that was a crown purchase. Ive seen some dudes riding tiger mounts but you cant buy them through the crown system, I heard only the people who were like day one beta subscribers got them.

Looks like they've optimised the game some too.

Will snag it for the consoles probably when I can get it digitally on the cheap now that it's F2P.

                                Re: Elder Scrolls Online

Spent a few hours with the game last night, it's MUCH better now than during the beta. They sent an email with a 20% off code last night, and remembering the whole $20 upgrade to PS4 version thing I was sold. Buy the game now and switch to PS4 later. I went as far as getting my wallet out and deciding to spring for the imperial edition.

Then I decided to check the details, you had to have had the game registered by this time last year for the $20 thing. So instead of getting like $84 by the time it's all done, they probably won't get anything because I will just GameFly the game.
