For those that don’t know the difference, gizzards are tougher and taste more gamey. I usually soak them in Sprite then milk before I cook them, same as how I prepare deer, elk or moose. Livers are much more tender and rich in flavor. Gizzards are also much cheaper and not as packed with nutrients, as they are muscle. Oh, first world problems, ha.
You know what really grinds my gears?

I bought two pounds of fried chicken livers to share with my grandfather while we are repairing our fishing pier [after a tornado damaged it]. They gave me less than a pound of fried gizzards instead. Didn’t catch the weight difference until I was at the house because the bag had drinks in it also. Blah.

I love chicken livers but you cant pay me enough to eat a gizzard ever again. I'd rather eat a mouthful of dirt first.T-BONE.

Idunno if anyone else is dealing with this, but I've been noticing more and more I only game for rewards/accomplishments/triumphs, like instead of playing for fun, I play for leveling up and completing quests or activities for rewards
it drives me nuts, like I should game for fun, not completing tasks in activities I don't enjoy just for the possibility of rewardsWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

I do like trophies and such on games, but I only really "chase" them if I've exhausted my personal needs for the game besides that. If they happen to occur without my knowledge or alongside a conquest, then so be it. In fact, it actually sometimes miffs me when I don't get recognized for some things.
One of my favorite things is when games track time played in-game. Somehow RDR 2 didn't have this, but past GTA games did, and I love that ESPN NFL 2K5 had it in the Crib as well. I believe Xbox Live and Steam track these on their own, but I wish the developers themselves took the time to put that in.
I'm with you as a whole, though. Games shouldn't be tasks to compete, they should be entertainment to play. Some of them are so difficult, ridiculous, or irrelevant that they really make you ask: "For why?" Maybe it's just me getting older and not really gaming much anymore, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
