Same here. I'm dying to try it, as I hear nothing but good things. Guess i'll stick with Sam Adams Seasonal Packs to get some Ol' Fezziwig Ale.

Magic Hat's winter brew is solid. Sam Adams' Winter Lager is growing on me as well.

I've been dying to try both Pliny The Elder and Pliny The Younger from the Russian River Brewing Company out of Santa Rosa, CA but have never seen it anywhere in Cleveland. I'm pretty sure you can find it readily available in SoCal so let me know if you have access to it and we can work something out with the Xmas Ale and any other Great Lakes brew you want to check out.

I'll see what I can find next time I go on a beer run. Never tried it myself, but I don't think I've ever had an IPA. Kind of intimidated to be honest, lol.

IPAs are my favorite style of beer, but those two wouldn't be good ones to start out with as they are extremely strong and hoppy and would just attack the hell out of your tastebuds if you dove right into them.

As far as the readily available stuff out there, the Dogfish Head IPAs are great though. The 60 Minute IPA is great for beginners and the 90 Minute IPA is a fabulous intermediate level IPA on the verge of being a top tier choice.

I saw Magic Hat`s winter brew at Kroger`s tonight and was tempted to get it but stick with GLB Christmas Ale. I was pleasantly surprised with Sam Adam`s Winter Lager. I am usually not a big Sam Adam`s fan but the Winter Lager was top notch.
