As crazy as it sounds, the workouts don't get easier, but overall, it DOES get easier. The fit test had me swearing I would never put the second DVD in, as it had me over a toilet for like an hour. Now, it's still completely exhausting, but I feel great after the workouts.

Cardio recovery today. Thank the lord

So my plan...start over Month 1/Day 1 tomorrow with the Fit Test. I'm also going to do some curls/pull-ups at the end of working out on Day 1 of each week and Recovery Day.
Nice work mate, good job getting through it.

Looking at the workouts the main area's where the program lacks is biceps and back so adding in some curls and pullups would be the perfect addition to these workouts imo.

I'm going to do the program as instructed this first time then do a modified version of it after that as well.

I'm doubling up today to catch up. Plyo cardio followed by cardio recovery is going to kick my *** but I'm looking forward to it.

I probably would have been over the toilet myself but I think I cut back a notch on the second half because I could feel it coming lol.

I have a feeling I'll be fine if I can get through the first few days. Luckily I'm off this weekend so I won't have to limp around work when the soreness gets real bad

              Re: Insanity

So my idea of doing 2 x workouts back to back was a bit of a fail. I did plyo followed by recovery but my legs were so shot it made lots of the squat and lunge holds nearly impossible to do as well as normal. I still got through it all and was absolutely drenched in sweat but it definitely effected the quality of the recovery workout.

Is it just me or are the basketball drills the toughest out of the lot so far?

The jumpshot drill to pushup to the leg kickback thing and the ski abs and in out abs all back to back are brutal!

100% agreed. The jumpshot drills are just as bad as the power jumps in terms of draining you, and then being in the plank position for so long afterwards just kills me. Usually by the time I hit the in and outs, i'm laying face first on the floor after the first couple reps.

                  Same here.

I don't think it is even possible for me to do some of the moves as quick as they do on the workouts. How the hell they can do those 1-2-3 Heisman's so fast is beyond me?!

. I know what you mean. I do those as fast as I possibly can, look up, and i'm way behind them. Oh well, as long as i'm pushing myself.

Oh, and one of the chicks in the back does jumping jacks at an otherworldly rate during the warmup.

yeah I had noticed her, like a freakin robot!!!

I'm simply too uncoordinated to keep up on some of them so I just do what I can but the speed of some of them blows the mind.

I think the stretching is worse. Me trying to find my balance on the quad stretch is rather comical, and by the time I do, Shaun moves to the other leg. I just hold on to the top of the TV now, as it gives me the same stretch without me falling all over the place.

Indeed. I actually got much quicker with the 1-2-3's over the course of the first month, though. Now I can do it close to their speed, albeit it's hard to sustain.

Month two starts in about 20 minutes for me. Anxious as hell.

Side suicide jumps, full body drills, and the king of kings (in my opinion): Ski Abs/Pushup jacks/In and Outs/Oblique Pushups; those 3 absolutely destroyed me.

I also thought this to be hilarious, and very telling.

I loved the hypocritical "Don't stop moving" as everyone is lying on the floor too much to not screen cap it.
