Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I had a turkey wrap (140) with lowfat cheese (25) & miracle whip light (30) for a snack last night, then for dinner I had some baked lays (130) and amy's organic enchiladas (220) for a total of 545 + my earlier meals put me at about 1200 calories for the day.

As for my workout yesterday, I had to meet the A/C people so I did get one in but it was cut short. Instead of doing 45 minutes on the elliptical I did 19 minutes. I tried to go hard as I could though for the full thing and I was pretty exhausted when I was done.

This morning I had an omelet as follows: 2 egg (140), mushrooms (20), green onions (20), egg whites (10), some shredded lowfat cheese (70) and one slice of lowfat kraft cheese (40) for a total of 300 calories.

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

Went way to off the diet this weekend and it showed on the scale. I was hitting 339 last week and now I'm back to around 343. I am still down 1 lb from last Tuesday, however. Extra diet time this week to make up for this weekend!

                25.8 lbs. March 26th, I was 225.2.

I'm halfway to my goal of 175.

I really noticed the clothes fitting better for the first time today. I just don't feel any thinner, I don't feel like I've lost any weight in my face or my stomach/lower back.

Good man, keep kicking ***. 25lbs is impressive in that time frame.

Are there any good apps for an iPhone for tracking calories? I'll probably be getting one soon through work and thought that would be a convenient way to keep tabs on my intake.

sparkpeople.com has a sweet tracker. Their iphone app is nice and simple too. Highly recommend it.

Ok, yesterday I broke down and had a slice of Papa Johns pizza that we had here at work. I was able to resist having a second piece though so at least that's the upside. For lunch I had two pieces of salmon and some brussel sprouts. I had a 100 calorie pack of pretzels for a snack. Then when I got home I had some tortilla chips with a piece of cheese and for dinner I had some stir fry with rice, potatoes, stir-fry veggies, beef and mushrooms w/teryaki & soy sauce. I finished the day slightly over my calories at about 1700 calories. I did get a 50 minute elliptical workout in yesterday.

This morning I had a sausage mcmuffin (370) from mcdonalds and a weight control oatmeal (160) for a total of 530 calories. I know, I know... the sausage mcmnuffin was bad, bad, bad and I think I craved it because I'm out of meat at the house (still no excuse, just trying to figure out why I felt a need to do it) I really wanted a big helping of lunch meat sandwich but had no lunch meat and my bread was molded. I'm going to try to get to the store tomorrow and get stocked back up on meat. A man needs his protein!

For lunch today I have a Livesmart spaghetti (370) with some parmesan cheese (30). So that should bring me to about 930 calories, throw in a snack and i'm at 1000 calories.

Tonight for dinner I'm meeting my girlfriend for Mongolians barbecue. I'll have some rice, chicken and veggies. I'll probably eat one of the wraps and then roll with the lettuce wraps for the rest of the meal. I imagine it'll clock me in at about 500 to 700 calories for the day..

Hitting the gym today for more cardio, probably doing the bike today.

How did this get dropped down to the 2nd page?

                                Slackers!

Anyway, first day back at the gym - felt great as far as workout was concerned. What was not great was the fact the woman would not listen to a word I say. She is not an athlete, nor has she ever lifted - but she's paying for the membership at the gym, so I figured I'd show her the safest way to go about herself.

Besides, we have a pretty similar workout - so thought it would be a cakewalk.

Let's just say the only time she didn't have something to say was when she was running on the treadmill...out of breath.

Gawd I hope it goes better next time....which is Sunday...ugh
