The lack of intelligence when it comes to nutrition in this thread is scary.

I'm not trying to call people out, I'm just saying I see some very dangerous things happening.

Nice. I'm gonna hit cardio tonight as well. I've had a bad couple of days (eating and drinking).

How do you guys burn that many calories on the bike? I did the bike yesterday and in like 40 mins burnt maybe 150 calories. It wasn't like I was half assing it either, I was over 100 rpm for the majority of the workout and I hit my target heart rate. Am I doing something wrong? Do you guys do it with added resistance?

Really? It's funny you say that because I was actually gonna ask Giggas why that number wasn't higher. In 30 minutes on the stationary bike, I'm close to 500 cals. If I'm just going through the motion with absolutely little effort then I'll hit 310-350 cals in 30 minutes.

Edit: Yes on the added resistance. I go at level 8. If I'm puttin in minimum effort because my legs are shot then I'll go on 4 or 5 resistance.

what the hell. I'm like a madman on the bike and have gotten to over 120 rpm's numerous times lol and I always try to keep it over 100 and usually burn between 150-190 calories. I will have to up my levels then.

The bike I use has levels of resistance, I put it on level 8 with the fat burner workout, and pedal away. I don't have the stamina to be a madman, so I generally try to do about 50 RPM throughout the whole time. Once I start thinking that's a breeze, I'll up my RPM. But my heart rate got to something absurd like 168 today, and I'm sure that's either A) not recommended or B) not good.

The bike I use is one of those bikes with a video game type screen and I run the courses that go up huge hills. I do about 400 calories in about 22-25 minutes. That is pushing about as hard as I can push it.

Please elaborate / enlighten us oh mighty nutritional guru. Seriously there are just as many holes in your high fat, high protein, no carb diet as there are in any of the other methods being described.

I'm assuming he's talking about the ridiculous low number of calories being consumed....in which the people taking in low calories are well aware that they are taking in a low caloric number. Who knows.

It's all good if he disagree's but don't just do a drive by sweeping generalization insulting everyone in the thread and leave.

We are all entitled to our own opinions on how we should do things but at least say why you think what people are doing things wrong or add something from your own experience at least.
