One thing that annoys me about my wife (mainly because i'm jealous) is her ability to just about fall asleep instantly. She lays down to go to bed and is literally out like a light in 30 seconds. I always toss and turn and my mind keep racing at a million miles a day and it always takes me 1/2 to a hour to get to sleep.

Same way. Don't have a problem getting up early or staying up late, but when I'm ready to go to bed it's pretty quick. And I snore, pretty loudly from what I'm told. So my gf gets the double whammy b/c she takes forever to fall asleep. I've tried letting her fall asleep first but it just doesn't happen.

I would NOT be with somebody who snores, seriously. I would build up so much hatred for that person.

My wife be out like a light, she will read a few pages of her book, turn the light out and next thing I know she will be knocked out. For me I am a night owl, so I usually watch tv while in bed. When I am tired though, I could be out in like 10 minutes.

I read recently somewhere that like 15% couples have sex while asleep. Most of the time not remembering or realizing. I know I've woken up during a few times and thought 'i don't remember how this started' lol.

My ex used to wake up and say an incoherent line or two about who knows what and fall back asleep instantly and never remember it. Not incoherent because of tiredness, but because of content lol.

My wife will call me at work (she works from home), with absolutely nothing to say, and even if I'm knee deep in reports and spreadsheets, she'll cop a tude and be like "I guess you don't want to talk". Of course I have to respond with, "You called me... What if I called you in the middle of a sales call and had nothing to say?"

When I'm taking a dump, that is a moment where I appreciate alone time. Unfortunately, the master bathroom does not have locking doors. So she'll come in there when I'm cleansing my guts and just want to talk. I suppose I should feel good I have a woman who's willing to stand there in the midst of my stench, but this is a moment for me.

LOL my wife wants to come in the bathroom with me too when I am using the bathroom. Good thing ours have a lock on the door though. She will always say why you always closing the door ? I always tell her, bathroom is private time.

The thing about my wife is like any time she is just like sitting there, she is out. Like say its Saturday night, we got some take out and rented a movie, we start the movie eating dinner, and as credits role im trying to wake this zombie creature who is like ready to get into a domestic for waking her up lol, and sometimes if I let her sleep and then wake her up before I go to sleep, shes ready for a domestic for not waking her up lol. I cant win.

what really kills me is I go through this crazy process of waking her up, then Ill go upstairs brush my teeth and climb into bed only the next thing I know shes washing the dishes and just as im about to nod off there she is "So what happened in that movie?" Married Life......

So I'm getting married at the end of August and wanted to stop by this thread to see what sort of fun things you guys have experienced in your marriage, especially how it pertains to your gaming time.

I have to admit, I have warned most of the regular guys I play with online that I'm getting married and my time may take a significant hit once married. I'm hoping she won't mind me wanting to get some gaming in the evenings after work. She knows I play games during a lot of my free time, but I don;t know she knows just how much time I will kill getting sucked into a game. We recently bought a house in March, which she is the only one living in until after the wedding, and I'm glad she is allowing me to set my up man cave/pwn station in the basement. She has no idea what sort of things I have in mind to turn that basement into the ultimate pwn zone.

Just make sure your basement don't flood. At our last house, flooding was a problem. This house, not a problem at all, but however this basement is just a basement, so we don't keep nothing down there at all. Only thing down there is the sump pump and oil boiler.

The living room is my man cave LOL. We turned one of the bedrooms into an office, so that is her woman cave. All works out nice. She be in her cave and I be in mines.

Like last night she went to bed early, like 11pm, I just went to my man cave and played my game on up until 3am. She don't care how long I play my games at all.

The key to a wife is to acknowledge their existence in the house every couple of hours or so. It could be jibberish, they don't care, as long as you say something to them, they are content.

Excellent point. Set aside time where you just focus all your time and energy on her, and she'll be fine to let you be when you wanna watch the game or just chill.
