My wife does the bathroom thing as well.

But the things that make her great far outweigh the things I can't stand. I have never had to watch a Twilight movie because she says it's the dumbest thing she has ever seen, and her favorite movies are Quinton Tarantino's. She quotes them all the time. When we walk to our car in the parking lot she says, " Lewis...LEWWWWISSSSS...LewiPOP POP POP!" or my personal favorite " SAY THE G**D*** WORDS, You're GONNA BE OKAYYYY!" Funny? Yes. Weird? A little. Could I live without it? Never.

My g/f hates the Twilight movies too but she's forced to go see them with her friends, LOL

I'm STILL stunned all of you guys profess to "love" your wives despite absolutely despising all these hang-ups and issues.

Didn't you guys sort through this crap before? Why ***** now? I mean if it was THAT bad during the dating/engagement phase, why not leave? Why string things along only to complain about them on an internet forum?

Unless you were all shotgun weddings in Vegas, done on a whim over a three day weekend.

        I'm just surprised...

EDIT: Speaking from an eight plus year marriage, with a six year old son, who's never really had all that much to complain about...other that I'm TOO clean for her (being that I dust every third day, vacuum and wash the towels weekly, and change the sheets around the house on potential bacterial/viral growth schedule).

Lol way to blow things WAAAAYYY out of proportions Johnny. You think because i don't like the same tv shows as my wife or some other meaningless crap we don't love each other? regardless of how "perfect" two people are for each other there will still be things people do differently then their partners. The moral of the story is you can still be completely in love with your wife despite not agreeing with every little thing they may or may not do.

Basically. I'm not married yet, but I'd be boring if me and my gf agreed on everything. Sometimes it's just good to discuss, vent or laugh at the things that make us different.

Mine does too pretty much. I forgot to mention she is a huge Mark Martin fan as well. We met in high school freshmen year and she knew a little bit about football (little bit meaning what a touchdown and fieldgoal is).

We started dating five years later and by the end of the football season she knew what every penalty was and what "3rd and 12" means and even started having hate for Terrell Owens, Tom Brady and Tony Romo. She was a Packers fan along with me until the Thompson/Favre divorce took place and she went with Favre to the Jets and has since become a Jets fan for life.

                Way to fail reading comprehension.

This thread has been more about "quirks" and not ONE person has even remotely hinted that any of this threads discussions were deal breakers.

In fact, the general topic is that we love them despite the things we're sharing and we acknowledge we have our own faults.

I'm not sure what thread you've been reading.

There's the door Mr. Holier Than Thou.

Seriously...we all love our wives, we just have things that get under our skin, make us scratch our heads, or just plain irritate us. That's not normal?

Thanks for your contributions to the thread....

                      Quick observation:

All my girlfriends I've ever had have hated my parents, but yet I've never hated any of their parents. My parents are cool, they aren't like total douchebag losers or anything. I'm just like my parents so if you like me, you should like them. In closing, girls are beotches.

Rather then start another thread about a wife/ex/girlfriend I figured id just post this here.

So I got engaged about a month ago. We have always had one hell of a volatile relationship. We have both done things that were wrong. We knew we had no reason to be together. Love can only take you so far you know. So hear I am today July 11th shes pregnant who arent together.

She is going to dig into my past(not so clean) to keep me away from my child. Just felt like telling a bunch of strangers thats. Have yet to build up the balls to tell my family.

Correct me if I'm mistaken - You called the wedding off. You find out that she's pregnant, and you think she's gonna start trippin' about you seeing your child? Am I right?

Sorry to hear that. Good luck man. Gotta keep things civil since both of you will be needed to raise your child.
