    Haha....no military.

I worked up to 8 times from 4 times originally.
If I can do 8 of those straight with just a 2 minute break in between...I do..
    I I'm not felling it....I do 4....take a break and do the other 4.

If you cycle down too low, you will actually turn your fat torching furnace off. Think of it as a fire. Constant fuel and it will burn. You don't want to trick you body into thinking I am starving so therefore I need to store this as fat for survival mode. Just a suggestion as I understand you have lost significant weight but I see muscle being used up when your body becomes starved. I actually added weight / fat by not eating on a regular basis and have lost muscle mass since my body went into deprivation mode.
True...but I must have a friggin' low threshold for food. ...
At 4 400 cal meals I maintain 225. Thrown in even a 200 cal snack and I push a pound or two up after a few days....
At 3 strict 400 cal meals and a handful of almonds/cashews/peanuts extra I'll continue to drop.
Looks like I'm stuck at 1600 calories unless I feel like creeping back up.

        Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE

I took yesterday off from the gym, for the first time in 5 days..

I even ate a fried hamburger, but it's the first fast food I've had in several weeks.

        Today, I'm back at it.

I woke up and made a Syntha-6 shake (meal replacement) and I ate a roasted chicken sandwich for lunch. I just got home from work and I'm eating an evening snack with a total of 26g of protein... gotta love Tuna.

I'm considering mixing my workout routine up to Back/Biceps Chest/Triceps

I've spent three weeks working stricly chest one day, arms, back/shoulders, and then legs all on seperate days.

It may be time to try my old routine out again. I'm seeing some results and I'm certainly much stronger than I was. Once I get in the gym and get in a rhythm, I have a hard time leaving.

Finally got around to purchasing a kettlebell this week. Used my friend's off and on for the last few months, but it took me until now to get my own. Should be fun, and it'll probably kick my butt when I start using it consistently.

I let out a big "Hell Yeah!" at the gym earlier, and got a few awkward looks from the guys across from me.. then they started laughing with me.

I started out three weeks ago only being able to dumbell bench 25 lb weights consistently.. tonight I cranked out 4 sets of 8 with 50lb dumbells..

I was ecstatic and It's a huge leap for me in such a short amount of time. I can feel myself finally getting stronger.

Nice bro, I always loved those jumps from a few good weeks of working out when I was doing it consistently for football.

Got back at FSU in the middle of the week so decided to start my routine on Monday.

I love the feeling of finishing a good workout. Always feel like I just accomplished something an it does nothing but positive things for me.

Yeah muscle memory is an incredible thing. Usually you can come back from a year off and get back into shape in 3-4 weeks

I'm starting a kettlebell routine tomorrow evening so that should be fun.

What kind of music do you guys usually listen to, while working out ?

I'm typically into metal anyways, so I usually listen to All That Remains, Lamb of God, Asking Alexandria, A7x, and other similar bands.

I can't listen to music while I work out, no Ipod, and I work out mainly at home so I can't really put it on speakers, but I listen to that kind of music anyway.

Also don't forget Parkway Drive, I love me some Parkway Drive.

                            For me its always:

Lifting: Metal / hard rock - Metallica, Trivium, Rage Against The Machine, Sevendust etc

                            Cardio: Hip hop / R n B - Eminem, Kanye, Lupe etc.

I just find the aggression in the metal is great for getting me fired up when lifting heavy and the beats in the hip hop make cardio fly by.

My current workout playlist that I've made:

Lamb of God - More Time to Kill
Crown The Empire - Forever (Drake Metal Cover)
All That Remains - Forever in Your Hands
Slipknot - Pulse of the Maggots
Avenged Sevenfold - God Hates Us
All That Remains - Two Weeks
Trivum - A GunShot to the Head of Trepedation
Lamb of God - Walk with me in Hell
                                Lamb of God - Descending
Trivium - Like Light To Flies
Lamb of God - Blacken The Cursed Sun
                                Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare
                                Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions
Avenged Sevenfold - Welcome to The Family
                                Asking Alexandria - Breathless
Asking Alexandria - Another Bottle Down (personal favorite)
Asking Alexandria - To The Stage

It's pretty heavy on Asking Alexandria and Lamb of God. I asked the question because I'm trying to mix things up a bit and get some other people's preferred music to try out.
