Same boat I'm in. Cop went overboard, but curious as to what made him go that overboard.

Kids know that the school can't touch them, they can only suspend them and parents don't discipline them enough at home ... so why would they listen to any authority figure.

She is now going to be rich for doing something that got the officer called in the first place.

The cop may be crazy or could have just lost it from the constant crap he probably has to deal with. I could understand wanting to do that to 1 kid so the rest stop the crap, but as an adult you can't do that.

Really would like to see what happened before, the other kids are just acting like nothing unusual happened.

Not sure how the cop is still there, she is going to get even more money from the school for them allowing the cop to still be there after the previous lawsuit

He just stands there and continues teaching? At least tell the cop to stop, I hope he tells them they need to fire the cop. I understand not trying to pull the cop off as he could then end up getting shot or etc, but at least tell the cop to stop.

It sounds only a bit more believable when you realize that there are always two parents to any one child, and any one parent can bear multiple children. So if a family of six kids had a father who was incarcerated, that's six out of six right there.

Still is a very high number regardless, but those factors definitely place it to a bit more believable.

That's a disturbing stat. I am always amazed when I see parents that, obviously, should not be parents. Why bring a child into your effed up situation? Why bring multiple kids?

Kids in situations like that are just totally behind the 8 ball in life. They really have to mature at an alarming young age to realize what they have to do on get out of the situation their crap parents put them in. Sadly, it's seems super rare in my experience.

If your gonna have kids, for the love of god please be in a situation where you are prepared and willing to do what you need to do to give them a good life, and a shot at success later on.

Sorry end rant.

Neither do I....but I have to say that I'm noticing a disturbing "trend".
Teenagers are getting very aggressive and belligerent.
We are constantly getting calls for manual pull stations in a local H.S....when we pull up....something is always getting tossed at us from the kids out in the street and they block us from getting into the school and actually try and make us push them to get by....then say things like "don't put hands on me man"...blah blah blah.
This is a fairly recent thing....within the last two years or so.
It's much worse for P.D.

I read another report on this that she struck the officer.

I'm sorry....you can't play adult one second and then cry kid when **** goes down.
