Ahhhh! I would love to debate this with you. Are you just not a fan of the movies in general, or do you truly feel that his stylistic intricacies aren't very appealing to begin with?
Director wise, I honestly don't see the big deal about (anymore) about Tim Burton. Yeah, he used to make very interesting movies, but damn, did anybody see Dark Shadows? Yes, because everyone that I heard bitching about it said they would have preferred it to be a game where both teams scored 50+ points because "No one wants to see two teams out there scoring under 10 points".--

I don't get why a game where everybody stops everybody is any more fun to watch than a game where nobody stops anybody, but whatever.

I don't have a "type" of game I prefer, because each game has its' own identity. You can have two games that end up 10-6 and one can be a bad *** Ravens/Steelers matchup and the other can be a disgusting, boring, sloppy, worthless game between the Browns and Jets.Comment

I don't get the appeal of John Mayer. At all. I think the only thing I've enjoyed of his was his skit on The Chappelle Show for White People vs. Black People music.

Because as someone else pointed out, the game where nobody stops nobody, essentially, whoever has the ball last wins. The only usefulness in a 70-63 game is if you are playing a drinking game alongside and need the scores to make it interesting. Otherwise it looks like you just put a bunch of high schoolers on defense.
And Oregon getting shut down by Auburn in that championship game just drove the point home that defense matters a helluva lot more than offense. But I guess that is the uncommon opinion now: defense wins you championships.Comment
